    Delfine Persoon is baiting WBA, IBO, WBC, IBF lightweight champion Katie Taylor to stand and fight in their anticipated rematch. They first met in June 2019, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

    Refreshingly honest from Delfine 'technically she is better than me', but she's right in that Taylor's unlikely to go to war and the chances of getting favourable refereeing in Eddie Hearn's back yard are slim to none I'd guess.

          Katie is significantly smaller than Persoon...

            We all watched the first fight ... which makes the headline worthless!! It was a proper slog match at times. I’m looking forward to the rematch

                Shorter. Yes. Lighter? Not so much. In their first meeting Delfine weighed at 130 whereas Katie weighed close the 135 limit. In fact the heaviest Persoon's weighed at in the her last 4 is 131 and the lowest 127. Taylor was 139.5 in her last start and hasn't weighed under 134 since 2016.

                Traditional logic would dictate Taylor should be the aggressor, but in this case Taylor's the boxer and Delfine's the one wanting to make it a fire-fight.

                  Persoon is 4 inches taller, I guess... and bigger body frame...
