You prove my point. Linares looked huge besides him.
    Salido didn't make weight.

Ward was dropped by a guy with 10-15 losses? So?

I told people on here that making your opponent reset over and over with your footwork/ and then proceeding to strike a pose doesn't automatically mean your some maestro. When Mayweather, Pac or Roy made their opponents reset someone usually got punched in the mouth.

Loma never had a punch in his arsenal that stood out to me, not a singular punch and yet they continued to compare him to ATGs

I don't care about ward.....loma has never really looked dazling outside of 2 fights. Rigo and Walter's. Was his best.......lomachenko is A class fighter but no where near a atg or a true first ballet hall of fame fighter. He got exposed for what he always was a talented fighter with lots of flaws. Thats it........its like loma doesn't know what to do with guys who come to him. Salido bulled him and Linares dropped him and linares was absolute garbage truck juice trash at that point in his career......

And also....all it takes is another A class fighter that has talent. And he can beat up loma in the lower weights you seriously think this is the last time loma will get his butt whooped? U are dreaming. He's not this gold slandered fighter that u think he is not even close.......the guy has always had too many flaws.

I think that's a pretty adequate take. Perhaps Lopez is right and a change over of guards is happening.
I think we saw Lomachenko get old tonight. I can't believe that 5 pounds will make all the difference and Loma can unify 130. I think he has too many fights under his belt and we've seen the best from him, unfortunately.
Teo showed he is definitely a star, and has matured since the Nakatani fight. He'll get better. He's not an Andy Ruiz and ready to throw it all away. Much respect...

He threw 4 punches in Round 1. What is that about?

He averaged 10 punches a round for the first 6.

And people used to say Floyd didn’t throw any punches

exactly. He does great against opponents that cover up and don't throw punches. He's a masterful boxer then. When you throw punches back, it's a different story

i get what you mean about the ruiz comparison...but teo was never ruiz to begin with...teo has alot more physical ability which makes him a tougher out....plus teo, at 135, isnt at a size disadvantage like ruiz can be in certain HW matchups...moving up to 147 might be more difficult for teo

he has matured since the nakatani fight for sure....and he its fair to say he probably isnt done maturing as a fighter...i think people took that nakatani fight as gospel or something...like it defined teo or something....guys have bad, tough, nights some times against different types of fighters....people read way too much into that fight...which is why i warn people about writing off someone like tank because of the gamboa fight...people want to make it out to be the most disastrous, worst, performance theyve ever seen....

Did people stop watching the fight after the 7th rd ?!?!?

For some unknown reason, Loma picked the last 1/2 of the fight to start fighting. Regardless of when it happened, it finally happened. Poeple say Loma waited for Teo to get tired (Teo clearly wasn't tired but so what if he was ?!?!?). Training camps are to tighten up ones conditioning. If a guy is winded after 7 rds, too fuc king bad.

Anyway, there was no Teo dominance once the fight started cracking.

                      This is a weird post.

You claim Teo wasn’t dominant when Loma started cracking but Teo’s best round was the 12th, after Loma started really throwing punches.

Loma couldn’t throw like he did rounds 8-11 early in the fight or he likely would’ve been knocked out or stopped. He needed to use the energy for movement and defense to avoid teo’s power.
