    My reach is 22 inches

Hi guys I measured my reach using an ordinary ruler and its measure is 22 inches from my armpit to my knuckles when I clench it. Is this reach classified as short medium or long? thanks

well it depends on how tall you are. your reach is from finger tip to finger tip with arms stretched out straight to your sides like you were hanging from a cross. this measurement should be as tall as you are. say you are 6 feet tall then from your longest finger to your armpit across your chest to the same finger on the other hand should be 72 inches if its 74 you have a long reach if its 70 you have a short reach. reach is also known as wing span.

bbos cause Truthfully I dont like hattons brawling style. What I actually want is marquez or PBF counterpunching style. But some say that people with short reach aint really that suitable as a counterpuncher

counter punching isnt about how long your arms are, sure they can help but more importantly its about your timing, speed, and accuracy, but with shorter arms comes with more leverage which is better suited on the inside, fight however you want and adjust as you gain more experience.
