I want to know how common this injury is and how I can fix it. I injured my foot about a month ago. I can't even pin point exactly how it happened, but it's been bothering me for awhile. The pain is on the outside of my foot, on the bottom of the foot and the pain sometimes radiates to my outer toes. It's not always bad, but it sometimes when I walk I can feel it. I always feel it when I'm training or running. It especially hurts first thing in the morning when I'm just getting out of bed. It doesn't hurt when I'm resting. Is there any way to fix it? I'm starting to think it's a ligament or a tendon injury.

Im an avid runner & its killing me to be sidelined. The Dr. said if I stay off of it and take my calcium I should heal up in 4 weeks :-/ problem is, I havent stayed off of it. Which brings me to my point, if we want to heal, we have to let our body heal. At my gym we have an arm bicycle and arm rope so for piece of mind, I have been doing that for cardio and just weight lifting, Ive also been sitting in the sauna a bit longer to get that sweat going that I desire. Point is bro, take it easy, you may have a stress fracture or pulled tendon that only rest can heal. No shame in using a cane (or crutch like me) or the fat peoples cart at the grocery store (lol) to take some weight off the foot. Your body is your temple so if its telling you it hurts, listen. I know I need to practice what I preach but its the best thing for us. Hope you get well soon!!
