1. mature

3. got a good story to go with it
that's two things more than what most games today can offer, if it holds true.
Originality is a wonderful thing. Last game I can think of that had those things was the polish game ''The Witcher 2''. It's nice to play a game that doesn't only rely on graphics and a watered down story for a PG13 audience...Last edited by Grand Champ; 08-02-2011, 01:24 AM.

Not terribly hard, but once you start the story and go 1/6 into it, it gets very intriguing. It's about a child serial killer. Seriously. The fact that there are multiple endings also give it a very very high replay value. I'm serious, each of the characters have 3-4 different individual endings, which in turn affect the OVERALL separate ending.
I played the hell out of that game and I really wish they'd make more games like it. Unfortunately, these type of games don't really have a wide audience. Heavy Rain is amazing.

I highly suggest buying it if you can find it cheap. These days I'm, much more stingy with my money. I cannot justify paying $60 for ANY game (unless you're a diehard fan), but if you can find it for $30-$35, it's worth it.
Your first playthrough will probably be about 20-30 hours, depending on the choices you make, what characters die, etc. The interesting thing about this game is that even if one of the characters happen to die, the story continues but it affects the game.
I'll give you an example. There are four characters in the game: the female reporter, the father, the FBI agent, and the private detective. They are all working to find a child serial killer. One of the chapters in the game involves the female reporter going to visit an old man. I don't want to spoil much, but it's a critical chapter where she may/may not live. If the latter happens, she never goes to a club to gather more information, which in turn she never ends up meeting the father and aiding him find his missing child. If the father ends up alone, he has less leeway for mistakes during his chapters (for reasons I can't explain without spoiling).
Anyway, I highly recommend it. As I mentioned earlier, a lot of people agree that the first chapters are boring, but once you reach a certain point, the story will suck you right in because you see all four characters trying to find the missing boy/stopping the serial killer.
The game is flat-out suspenseful once you start getting closer and closer to the finale. It's really shame that there aren't more games out there.
If you don't plan on buying it, then at least consider renting it during a weekend when you have NOTHING to do and play that game, finish it, come back here and post what you thought about it.
It really is a great experience.

We're talking harder than Gradius hard, right?
Harder than Shinobi (hardest difficulty) on PS2, right?
Harder than Viewtiful Joe (hardest difficulty), right?Last edited by TintaBoricua; 08-02-2011, 12:55 PM.

I'm envious of your God of War franchise though.. No hack n' Slash gets near it. All Xbox have is Dante's Inferno
