Players need to know that too - take away the pretence. It isn't just a game. Our jobs taken for their individual merits are likely far more important than theirs and depending on what we do more essential to life and death (health, shelter, warmth, finance, whatever) - but they get paid the big money for a reason. And they think it is because they are just good at football.

I think the squad is being announced Sunday and with the futures of Sams assistants uncertain there was no one else around to handle the reins until a permanent replacement is made. He only has 4 games i think and none of those are difficult games so lets see what comes up at the end of the season because as of now i cannot think of a single worthy candidate out of work.

I love a footy rant.

I am pretty happy-go-lucky in all other aspects of my life - football is my out for all the negativity. I think I would have been happier in a way if I supported a truly catastrophic team like Coventry City or something. I'd be in my element for real then. Someone who truly fell to absolute shite.

If I was born in the midlands I'd have been an even bigger ****.

This current Chelsea team of charlatans is good for a rant though. But to be fair most Chelsea fans think their ****s. How could you not?
