Man U are absolute guff though, aren’t they? They have lots of fast forwards, but don’t play on the counter-attack and they’ve got absolutely no guile in central midfield either so they can’t dictate games. It just leads to a horrible sort of ‘containment’ style of football where they just manage a game and hope that their fullbacks get a decent diagonal cross in so Lukaku can ****house one in off his knee. They’re like a good Stoke.

I would sell Michy and put Tammy in there. I would have done that last summer.

Morata, Giroud, and Tammy is fine. The issue is Morata isn't a top line striker. For a no2 and 2.5 Giroud and Tammy is ideal.

As much as I like Bats. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the result come summer. Specially if Dortmund's rumor of using all of Aubameyang's transfer on him is true. He'll leave.

Morata will be a late bloomer though. He has Torres' body language and frailty but Torres was 29 with 2-3 hamstring tears not 25 and healthy.

Morata never played a full season of football at the intensity of the PL.. I mean at Madrid he was basically a sub.. he was used more at Juve but that league is far slower and more tactical..

I have serious doubts this kid will ever be able to do 40-60 hard games in the PL/FA cup/CL every season

Even the likes of Messi.. it used to be said as a bit of a joke.. "how would Messi do on a cold night at Stoke".. but I guarantee you if Messi had spent his career in the PL instead of Ia liga.. he'd be done by now
