      Side note:
      Manchester United. How?
The wheels are coming off at city....they cant keep up.

Were gonna walk the league from here.

Dont get how we usually seem to win and look good in the process vs the "bigger" sides

League is definitely Liverpools at this point. They are putting out their sub's to start games and still mauling teams. They are playing with much more confidence than last team it seems. Two seasons ago, they were playing great football and just overpowering teams but slipped occasionally. Last season they were more clinical, not as flashy overall but definitely a side that seemed more mature...teams had figured out their style out to a certain degree so they were absolutely smashing everyone but still winning games clearly. This season they just seem so much more confident about their game. Salah isn't playing at the level he was two seasons ago but the rest of their team are playing at their highest level. If an absolute baller in Naby Keita is fighting to start, you know they are monsters. I thought Liverpool would struggle if they missed Mane, Salah or Ferminho two seasons ago but with how well their subs are playing, I think they'd still beat everyone outside of a City at their best or Europes best teams.

Man City. They got rid of Kompany, kept Otamendi, Laporte and Sane are both out. Big misses. Leicester are honestly looking like a proper unit too, probably the only team that could clearly beat Liverpool now that you think of it.

Embarrassing to see pep crying about City not being able to beat Europe best teams and even mentioning how "good" united are in defence and on the counter attack..

Hes had so much investment into a squad that was already full of title winners.. Kompany going probably made this dressing room fall apart

In my opinion, Kompany was the only true Man City player. The whole "play for the badge" saying, Kompany really lived that for City and it showed. But he had to go, he was beyond injury prone.

The rest are a bunch of mercenaries. They dont really care about that club. So, its no surprise whats going on. Even Aguero and he's been there for nearly a decade.

Pep has a track record of mentally depleting his teams as well. Did so at Barca and Bayern.

Thats why I think he will quit if they dont win the CL this year.

He usually bails on clubs when they are nearing the decline and mentally exhausted. He doesnt leave them in shambles like Jose but he does leave them when the going gets tough.

Pep saying City might have to accept they can’t compete?

                What a pillock.

I know he’s just trying to get a rise out of his own players.

But the one thing you can’t do is play the poor us card of you’re back to back champs.

You can’t even do it if you’re a top 6 club full stop.

City would spend ?0 mill on a door knob. And cook the books so on what level can’t they compete, ffs?

They give Foden 4 minutes every 2 weeks. That’s the only bit of leeway they give against the relentless grind for results. Not sure how that’s supposed to develop him but still.

Chelsea have a little leeway because we field youth products but even then it won’t really last if we keep losing.

                Pep is an awful loser.

I’m sick of him tbh. Looking forward to him leaving.

The whole passive aggressive thing drives me bonkers

Aguero Ive always had a problem with and I dont really know why.

Hes a prem great in terms of numbers but I dont really hold him in that high regards.

I dont have to check whether hes comfortably outscored Drogba but hes not comparable.

A part of it is I think Aguero is a hermit. I dont think Ive heard him speak. Or really engage anyone. I imagine him basically being copped up in a McMansion in Cheshire for a decade. I find him depressing.

El Fenemeno going on about how this was the greatest PL side

No CL title.. not even a long run in the competition with Pep.. Winning back to back titles is hard.. Winning 3 is a whole other thing mentally

                    City checked out already

Ajax and Inter crashed out and we finished second. I think we might play Juventus.
