Ronaldhino had a season or two playing some of the best football I have ever seen (maybe above even Messi/Ronaldo individually).. but had no consistency long term in comparison.. So I cant rate him near them..

That's why the Chelsea/United teams will always be superior for me.. and even this Liverpool team.. ok they haven't won 2 titles yet.. but I mean they basically did last year (and they won the CL)

If Chelsea can keep their plan of working with their youngsters and buying only small pieces here and there then Europa league maybe the best thing for them.

Yeah, some Chelsea fans are going a bit nuts now because we�re not an especially good team but they�re expecting them to perform like Cech, Terry, Makelele, Lampard, Drogba team.

Those 5 in their prime could probably stay in the game against our current 11, lol.

A lot of deadwood needs to be shifted and the Youngters need to get used to winning matches possibly under lesser pressure.

It�s not like that last Mourinho season at Chelsea which still makes my blood boil. This team is trying, unfortunately they�ve got a load of injuries and Chelsea are relying on players who will be gone in 2 months to win us games.

There�s just no way we stay top 4

We are nowhere near a top European league and may never be a premier or la liga type league but they�re definitely improving. Was an exciting opening weekend imo.

That's the main thing keeping me hoping Lampard will improve quickly.

I don't think many other managers would be bothered with the youth.

Besides maybe Pochettino. He's proved that he has that ability but I'm not completely sold on Chelsea to play like Spurs. Sort of makes me sick thinking of it, despite by nature of competition, Pochettino should be contacted this summer.

Nuno was the perfect replacement to Conte but the board fudged that. Looks like now, it has to be Brendan, Hasenhuttl, Marco Rose, or that Jesse Marsch. If there is to be continuity outside of Lampard going for round 2. But I am not supremely confident that Lampard will figure it out.

Maybe if the club brought in that Buvac guy as assistant to Lampard. Sure Jody will be pissed but Buvac knows his stuff and proved it with Klopp from Mainz, Dortmund, and Liverpool. He knows how to coach that style Lampard wants to play.

Specifically at this level where none of the coaching staff have any valid experience at.
