Chelsea trying to get the Boro game played behind closed doors because of sporting integrity is beyond cheeky

Just trying to force the governments hand really.

Does anybody really believe that buying a match ticket or a Chelsea shirt is gonna end up with cash in *****'s hands. You could get a pint at Chelsea vs Newcastle but not a programme.

The govt froze Chelsea as an asset but their business advisory panel is not fit for purpose. They wanted the quick and easy PR win. They're lucky that every c.unt wants to buy them or they'd have folded a 117 year old institution in a month. Even for them that is spectacular.

Silly. Just put all the money in escrow. They're gonna get bought we know that now.

But really, f.uck everyone. It is not like it is possible for the club to have any good PR at all so there's no point.

Chelsea should then have released a follow up statement calling Steve Gibson a complete c.unt and that he sold a player to finance a divorce.

          What then?

I see your boy Levy is s.hitting himself already. One 'top" exec was worried Chelsea will have a sporting advantage when they are bought. Which always happens I guess since debt is usually paid off. In this case there was no debt anyway.

I'm sure Chelsea wont be as 'good' because even though though Roman 'only' put in ?60 mill of his own money reportedly in the last decade he did so without batting an eyelid. Chelsea will only get that from non-Americans.

Chelsea have to end up with Americans or old European money I guess for the integrity of the game.

Although some yanks arent made for football mostly and are bit venture capitalist by nature - football clubs shouldnt make money at any level. Hicks and Gillet nearly ruined Liverpool and they were saved by Broughton who found other yanks.

Liverpool has nowhere near the interest Chelsea do now. Probably because the City is worth less than Stamford Bridge.

From the bidders we know I suspect it will be Boehly.

I dont really know how he's done it but he's allied himself to some pretty politically powerful and well just smart men such as Finkelstein If the capital is there from his investors as well as from himself he sounds good. I'm sure his PR is in overdrive but he seems safe.

Broughton and Lord Coe and the team that backs them depending on how much money they have might be interesting.

Chelsea could go from pariah's here to old, well, not old but safe money (maybe some old European money) and British political influence in one hit.

Think there is a good chance they emerge more powerful. Just maybe not likely to be as resistant to the natural cycles of footy when youd have a great team and maybe slip down a bit before regaining their footing.

I think it was underestimated how many powerful people actually support Chelsea.

Yes there are bigger things going on in the world but it certainly isnt buckets outside the Bridge. It is men with billions backed by other men with legitimate political influence.

Less need for a PR drive when it is the people in the boardroom that weild influence

Anyway, defo looking forward to firing off a few texts when a takeover is completed and certainly if we are able to win league title any time soon. Which we could

Bill Clinton named his daughter after Chelsea. Seriously! He's a Chelsea fan.

I'd rather not see the Premier League become more like American sports leagues. I'd rather see American sports leagues become more like European football leagues.

I dont want Americans because they essentially mortgage clubs.

Rival supporters said Chelsea would be in trouble if Roman left were always simple folk. The debt was held by tFrostram of which RA was the owner of 100% the business.

Chelsea are never gonna have that type of owner again but I'd rather have someone spending their own money. Not like Liverpool, Man U, or Arsenal. The British bids will also be the same. Candy sounds like a complete chancer to me. How many more nice things can one man promise. Sounds like a Tory l, is a Tory.

Sugar Daddy ownership is sneered at but it is obviously better. There is probably a few silent bidders. So whilst Boehly to me still sounds the best option I am still hoping there is an Indian Billionnaire in the mix. The club more or less is self sufficient. If they stop buying crap players. But it is still ideal to have someone inject cash now and again. And at Chelsea it is not as much as people think.

                  Hence why everyone wants them.

But I only want them to break even. Like most fans.

                  Football clubs are museums.

Nice win for Chelsea. Naturally, Timo Werner gets a point-blank shot on goal.....and shanks the phucker into the crowd. I swear to God he's a worse shot than the Stormtroopers in Star Wars
