Well, 'degeneracy' is in the eye of the beholder man, it's a pretty judgemental term and not in any way an objective one (unless you're speaking of sex with prepubescent children which is pretty much universally taboo). The use of such terms typically says more about the one using them than about the objective state of the world.

Anyways, that aside many of the more theocratic ****** Nations do legislate over sex outside of wedlock - mostly over adultery however rather than premarital sex... Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan....

I've rarely heard it mentioned that these are considered highly desirable places to live or that they're particularly reputed for their high quality of life. In fact quite the contrary - especially for women - as particularly evidenced by the high rates of asylum seekers from them.

Unfortunately what generally happens is that people being people - especially hormone driven young people - they have extramarital or premarital sex anyway - it just makes em into criminals. Furthermore it tends to drive people into unwise or unloving marriages which may not be better for kids than actually being raised by a single parent. That's the part of the 'couples raise better kids' argument that people seem to overlook - it assumes that if the if you force - through extreme social stigma - or legislate to make couples to stay together they make qualitatively as good parents as those who remain together voluntarily in a caring or loving relationship.

And you still get large numbers of **********s in all these countries man - poor and desperate women everywhere have always turned to prostituition - all that happens is it drives it even further underground and into the arm of criminal gangs and other abusers and removes the ability of such women to even seek protection from the police or other officials (even when it isn't the police or militias themselves doing the pimpiing) and means that they often can't even seek medical attention when they need it for fear of consequence.

And STDs? well it's hard to find data for many of these nations, but certainly it hasn't helped much in Iran which has an STD 'epidemic'.

Or in other ****** countries in the middle East..

Rates in the Middle East are reportedly higher than expected – parallel to that found in other regions of the world, despite religious norms. There are a number of reasons suggested for this, including lower levels of testing due to the stigma associated with testing positive for an STD, particularly for women.
Part of the problem being of course that if it's illegal to **** around, countries ain't going around educating people about what to do to prevent STDs and people don't know how to protect themselves - and are less likelty to go to doctors for fear of consequence when they do catch something - so it continues to spread.

Even in many ****** countries where it’s legal it its still frowned upon

Casual sex isn’t ‘normal’ in much of the world, and for many people on boxingscene either

Well yeah - I mean it is socially disruptive in many ways - there's a reason it's generally frowned upon across much of the world, but there's also a reason it happens everywhere in the world - in essence we are reproductive machines and our biological imperatives are a fundamental part of our nature. They can almost literally take charge of our behaviours and certainly shape and influence them in many ways concious and subconcious.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't try to control em of course, but it also makes it problematic - at least IMO - to actually legislate against it. People - especially horny young people -gonna **** around whatever laws you pass.

I don't think if casual sex was normal we would have so many Nasty STDs. Unsure how I feel about a government banning you from getting off though.

Good comment! Problem is laws don't change people's hearts.

(1 Timothy 4:1, 2) 4 However, the inspired word clearly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired statements and teachings of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, whose conscience is seared as with a branding iron. . .
