Yeah we know the admin changed the definition of what a recession is. But if you factor in wealth how else can you explain it?

This has to be the first time in history where the biggest stocks are casually down 50%+ and there are barely any headlines.

Well hell yeah I have some coin still. But I'd like to keep all of it and not just some of it.

Seriously? We go shopping and I just get pissed. In NV gas is still 4.00 a gallon. Diesel is still 5.00 a gallon. That's at Costco! We pay 800 a month just in fuel. Have you seen a bag of chips? They shrunk and they're 4.00 a bag! Look at this ice cream that we buy. They raised the price to 4.50 and shrunk the size! I caught the stocker putting out the new size and took this pic.


Just because you have money doesn't mean you want to pay more. How do you think people have money? They're cheap AF and watch spending. This is something that won't change for me. I can go buy a new 100k bass boat or new ATVs. But why? I can fix up anything and enjoy it. Plus I swoop on people's stuff that they're having a hard time paying for. Plus those taxes suck.

I gave into the sequoia because the wife doesn't ask for much. We haven't bought anything brand new in a long time. But thankfully the dealers are smoking crack and I have a excuse for the wife. Lol.

I flip cars and boats now that I'm just chilling. So that offsets things a bit and makes it a bit easier. But the chit still gets to me! To see things change so fast and think about how long it's going to take for these corps to get prices back down is worrisome.

That said, I did spring for some new wheels last month Haha.

I like this answer. I've been reading we'll be in recession for a year now. So i don't really know "technically". Inflation is high but job market is good.

My definition of recession is personal. If i still have a job (didn't get laid off) then it doesnt matter to me what it really means. On the other hand, if i dont have a job and cant find one, i dont care if you say we have the best economy currently, i'm on recession.
