Please explain to me why a group needs reparations. Why not just work hard like everyone else to create wealth?

If you live in america, you already have a significant advantage over many parts of the world where they don't have the same luxuries.

You can make as much money here as you want. No one here is stopping you. There are a lot of people always complaining about getting reparations. Why not just work hard and build up wealth?

My great grandparents came to this country from England with only a few dollars in their pocket and they worked really hard and made a fortune.

If MLK were alive today he wouldn't be talking so boldly with the amount of young farel blacks tearing sheet up.

Why were blacks able to purchase homes and live nice lives in the 40s/50s.

They were the closest connection to slavery yet many succeeded.

Reparations were promised based on all the uncompensated hard labor blacks were forced to do that created generational wealth for many whites.

Knowing this, its really odd to see how the TS worded this thread title.

I guess he’s either truly ******, an ignorant racist trying to cover up his agenda, or he actually didn’t know.

Maybe what should happen is for the next 100 years every white person born should work without being compensated. Then lets see about building wealth from working hard.
