Pay $250,000 plus and sign your death waiver anyone?

Even if I were a billionaire I would find better ways to spend that kind of money without signing a death waiver. Lifestyles of the rich must be boring for some.
Five people remain missing after a submersible intending to visit the site of the Titanic wreckage did not return as scheduled Sunday evening. Details have continued to emerge about the craft, which was attempting to reach the sunken ship, nearly 13,000 feet beneath the surface of the North Atlantic Ocean.

I was watching the news about this and they mentioned that the submarine had to be bolted with screws from the outside. A surge of claustrophobia swept through me and I couldn't for the life of me understand why if I had billions would choose to do this. Apparently, it's nothing but blackness under there and the off-chance of seeing wreckage of the Titanic is 50/50 - and even then there are photos of it online. There are so many wondrous sites to explore above sea. In any case, I can't imagine their utter fear in all that darkness as their oxygen slowly depletes. I genuinely hope they're rescued and pray for them..

Plus they can't really even see the Titanic, especially now that they're dead.

The trips up in Jeff Bezos' penis rocket seem safe. I'd do that if I was ****** rich.

I just read this particular submersible didn't get certified by any of the agencies who certify this type of vehicle. That's a red flag right there.

I'm sure Bezos has his penis rockets inspected and certified before flights.

Those have to be the worst final moments of a life, to be on the bottom of a cold, dark ocean watching themselves die, and him knowing his son's life is ending because you brought him on this trip.

I suppose they are dying together. Being all alone in that spot may be even worse.

At least they had a quick ending. I wonder if the families of the passengers have any potential lawsuit even with all the signed death waivers?

Some people have a need to do things most people won't be able to....just to say they did it.

              RIP

                Yeah
It was over so fast the brain couldn't register the pain.

                Very messy way to go.

In these risky jaunts, waivers must be signed.

I mean, death was a possibility.

Not impossible they could sue but they would have to prove the accident was caused by someone's negligence. Something that made the craft even more dangerous that it normally would be. Substituting an aluminum part for a titanium part or knowingly using a damaged part for instance.

People do crazy things all the time I can't do and I don't understand. I believe claustrophobia and acrophobia are fears god gave me for a reason.
