never liked this parable... not one bit...

the brother who remained and was good has the right to be pissed off.. the dude worked his ass off and what did he get? ****in nothing..

the prodigal son when he came back got all the glory and the victory lap which makes little sense... i understand the point of the parable is forgiveness and being redeemed - there is nothing wrong with that... but imagine this in an office setting...

imagine you are the dude that remained and worked hard... and the one who got the promotion from the boss was the ****head who spent company resources on ****ty things - the boss saying he is happy that the "prodigal son" came back...

can you take that?
