      Not saying it isn't true but i'd hold fire until the UFC themselves announce it. They'll probably announce it very soon though. I remember he also announced he was fighting Diego Sanchez a few years back via Twitter and it never happened.

        I'm guessing the UFC wasn't overly impressed with the Jones & Johnson ppv numbers.

          Nice. Has the UFC confirmed this yet?

          Hope its true cuz its beyond ******ed this fight wasn't happening yesterday, but the UFC is a ran like a gulag with this sorta ****. I wanted to see the UFC's stance on Conor's "retirement" & now you need to see it about this news or it ain't true yet.

            I don't think they expect numbers from DJ (no combat sport likes lil guys, unless they are lil girls with tittays &/or bring destruction), but yea I suspect Jon didn't do great numbers, even for him, vs random muscled up guy.

                    Lets not forget this is the UFC. They canceled a whole f#cking UFC numbered event cuz Jon Jones didn't submit to them. I'll never be surprised by their decisions.

                    Plus lets not forget the Nick Diaz vs GSP situation thats similar to this incident in that Nick missed a presser & it was a huge fight to make at the time. Than he got demoted to co-feature vs BJ Penn on the same card while Carlos Condit got his shot vs GSP. I mean if thats not some do what we say or get punished type **** idk what is.

                    If they legit bend on this with Conor 100% & Nate vs Conor is on, Conor is legit the biggest deal in MMA ever.
