That 5th round left hook from Leonard tells everything we need to know about Hearns chin. Also, Hearns didn't recover well after getting hurt. I don't think he had a glass jaw but his recovery from getting hurr was not good. James Kinchen had him badly hurt too.
With that said, Hearns stops Trinidad. His boxing skills were far better.
Kinchen did hurt Hearns badly but it was hearns that won it.I am a big Hagler fan & have seen a lot of his fights & have only seen him hurt once & that was very early in rd 1 against Hearns who ended up breaking his right hand in rd one not that it would have mattered because once Hagler warmed up he started to walk through hearns best.I believe to Hearns power would have been to much for Trinidad but because of Hearns questionable chin & the fact that Trinidad too had power in both hands would have given trinidad a punchers chance.Hearns also had a great jab reach & height advantage.Either way this fight doesn't go past rd 4.

I like that even when Larry was active, he was already thinking about making additional income and saving his money, much like the heavyweight whose record he tried to beat, my all-time favorite and avatar, Rocky Marciano. I saw a news report from the time when he was still active that showed several businesses Holmes had already started and was running successfully in his hometown of Easton, PA and I thought good for him. I always hated these stories of former fighters ending up penniless or barely scraping by. We hear about it a lot with entertainers/pro wrestlers often too. From the Marciano bios I've seen, it seems like his manager Al Weill took way too big a percentage of his purses, so he was smart to get paid in cash and hide his money when it came to outside business ventures, even after retirement, although that was probably more for tax purposes by then. I loved the story Bert Sugar told on the ESPN Ringside episode on Marciano when Rocky was at a black tie dinner and refused a bank check for several thousand dollars, so they had to pass around a hat to take up a collection. Rocky took the cash out of the hat for a few grand instead of the bank check for at least 10 grand, thanked the host after making his speech and left. Supposedly money was hidden in picture frames and pipes, etc. Kinda reminds me of how Rod Serling's widow would sometimes still find hidden cigarettes after his death because nobody else knew where he hid them lol.
I pretty much agree with these assessments too. A lot of these fantasy fights I can't pick because I haven't watch the guys, but I've seen both Trinidad and Hearns. Hearns would be too tough and that right hand would be too much for Felix. Trinidad probably lasts longer than Duran, but it probably finishes inside the distance.
Used to have Ali at 1, now I have Louis there with Ali just barely behind at 2. And most of the lists I've seen based on resume seem to go Robinson, Greb, Armstrong or Robinson, Armstrong, Greb and then it seems to be a toss up for 4 and 5 pound for pound. So probably gotta throw a heavyweight in there or 2. Most likely a Louis and Ali, maybe a Langford, then Ali could work too. I know Langford is supposed to have a good resume too. Oh yeah, Lennox Lewis, definitely Top 5 among heavyweights for sure dude. I know Jab can speak more about Langford, as he's studied his career more at length.

Unless you can read minds you have no idea what was in Corrales head. If you claim you do you're lying.
Quartey was not in his prime no matter how you want to spin it. Prime means at your best and he wasn't. He looked bad in his previous fight and never looked the same again. End of story.
"Hatton was a little boy" I can't even take you seriously when you say something that ******.
Start using paragraphs like an adult. This is the last time I'm going to read through this crap.

Once you took power out of the equasion Hearns had holes in his game - mainly his height and offense was his defense. He really neglected defense and just used his jab and power to keep fighters staying away from him at 147.

Big Trinidad fan because I saw him coming up and he was in exciting fights. He brought the party. A real prize fighter. On the other hand he was trained by his father… and like my brother once said if his plan A didn’t work he could always resort to plan A. Also I think we heard the line “Just keep doing whatever you are doing but better” from his corner.
Hearns hits too hard and Tito too chinny early. He could go down a few times and have too much to make up even if survived.
Tito could hurt Hearns too and try one of his bum rush finishes. Its a matter of how many low blows Tito can land before getting DQ’d and how many massages Hearns gets between rounds.

Hearns would cream Tito? Surely his movement and boxing skill would get to Tito early, imo. As far as Delahoya goes, we all know he beat Tito too. Delahoya vs Hearns would be a fun one. Delahoya's chin seemed to get better once he moved up
