he did so with injury that required surgery. was clearly in the lead

"or the all if the judges cards. 89-82 88-83 88-83.

he didn't know how the Western reaction to it.

he never lost more the 3 rounds on any card in any fight. This accomplishment is Home in boxing history.

. HBO reported on initial broadcast through translator that Vitali was comparing about the injury as early as round three.

. I've seen though guys on the ground in other sports because or it.

Anyway, quitting in boxing has may forms including opting not the get up form a knock down, fouling out via DQ, or rule being stuff like faking an injury.

WTF does this **** all mean?"

I can agree about the Rahman fight and risk reward you speak of. But Theresa's clearly no duck as Sanders could never push the limits far enough to get him ranked and make a fight. Had he beat Rahman we may be having g a totally different conversation.
He is famous for beating Wlad. No one did it faster or more cleanly. No one else can claim that. I lived though the 1990's and trust me when I say it, Sanders name was mentioned by the press to fight Lewis. If he wasn't injured going into the match with Rhaman ( not making any excuses just stating facts ) and won, you're right it would have been a different conversation then! As it was Sanders floored Rahman. He nearly knocked him out. Sanders just and missed on a punch that would have Rahman to next week.

            Wlad defended against ;
            Thompson
            Leapai
            Pianeta
            Rahman
            Austin
NONE were Ring ranked when he fought them ,
            Why did he fight them?lol

            What does this say?

"Sanders just and missed on a punch that would have Rahman to next week."

            Shorthand?

              - - U shorthaid for monkey brains?

Wlad as unified had multi unified mandatories to deal with.

Thompson who whoops 75% of title holders in history gave Wlad his toughest fights as a supersized southpaw. Wlad set the record for southpaw title defenses. Noone even close...NOONE!!!

Rahman an emergency replacement after Pinky Toe Haye backed out.

I posted a relevant Boxrec top 25 in his era to show how the Ks had disposed of most all with promoter problems precluding the rest.

Sorta like El ******o Burro precludes your posts.

I realize I'm baying at the man in the moon at this point, but nobody since Ring Rankings inception fights all Ring ranked fighters, not even Joe Louis who fought the most.

It was for Wlads lightly regarded WBO title. Lewis held all the other belts and lineal title if I'm not mistaken

It's not the fight happening I question, but why a rematch never happened. Sanders wondered this in an interview as well. When Byrd tried to make a rematch with Vits they pushed Wlad on him. The same probably happened with Sanders though the vacant W C title was available when he fought Vits.

I just don't get why two exceptional fighters would let rematches that were able to be made, just go to the other brother. The only thing that makes sense is they were playing on each other's strengths.

Had he beaten Hasim, sure. I remember to, but he was hardly legendary. Saying g Lewis ducked him is exaggerating more than generously though. There was no time frame where Lennox could have ducked him.

It's been years since I watched the Sanders-Rahman fight. Good slugfest. I'll check it again soon.

Sanders was a good man and exceptional athlete. I may not hold his career to an elite level, but I certainly respected the man.

                    Bottom line

Wlad made defences against five, unranked by the Ring ,opponents.

                    PLUS ONE WACH
                    = 6!

It means you are truly buffoon and one who replies to his own posts. Did you know that Wlad holds the record with most title opponents beaten! I doubt it. His brother is 6th on the list with 12 title opponents beaten ahead of Holyfield and Frazier. But behind Wlald, Ali, Louis Holmes and Lewis. I wonder where the hate comes from? Let's see you hate and degrade Corbett ,Jeffries, Marciano, and both Kiltschkos? We'll maybe it's none of them were born in France? Nah, that's not it. Guess again. I think we know the answer.

If you are talking ranked ring magazine opponents beaten Wlad second behind Joe Louis! Yea let's make fun of him.

You not smart enough to be a good hater! Your the man who claimed an IQ of 137, right?
