The Johnson broken arm debate reminds me of Ali-Norton (I).

Ali claimed his jaw was broken in the first round and fought the next 11 handicapped with a broken jaw.

Norton claims he broke Ali's jaw in the last round (12th) and claims he saw it when it happened.

I suspect, when JJ broke his arm, will likely always be a mystery.

If Tyson Fury demands $100M, Joshua offers him $80M, Fury fights Charles Martin for $5M...he just ducked AJ. No one would respect his choice of opponent either.

He signed knowing the fights could not be made or moving the goal posts after he signed. History shows he drew the color line as champion. Langford, Jeannette and most historians agree.
How would would he know the fights could not be made the promoters didnt? You make no sense.
Most historians .Geoffrey C Ward, Randy Roberts,Finis Farr,Adam Pollack DO NOT AGREE.
I've named 4 to support my opinion, you name 2 to support your claims

Four historians are not "most". Johnson is on record drawing the color line as champion, he said so himself, a direct quote from the man. I don't care who agrees or doesn't, Johnson himself said he wasn't fighting them as champion.

Name 2? Tom Donelson, Colleen Ay****, and even Clay Moyle who you love to quote. There are countless others. Langford and Jeanette themselves stood by the claim, they were there.

Never heard of Donelson, Moyle does not say Johnson avoided fighting black challengers. When the proposed Johnson v Jeannette NY fight was called off Jeannette made a public statement to the press saying," I do not blame Jack in any way for the fight not coming off" Johnson many times said he would defend against anyone if his price was met.You are taking an off the cuff remark, totally out of context,
          Love to quote?
I think I've quoted Moyle twice, but here is one of his quotes for you, both at their best Johnson beats Langford.

You know how to use Google right? Doesn't matter if YOU heard of them or not. Don't be lazy in a pathetic effort to win an argument you cannot prove.

Adam Pollack is acknowledged as an expert on Johnson, his biographies are considered the bench mark. I don't think it is wise for you to be talking about people being banned, you yourself being banned for life from Classic Boxing Forum .Adam is banned nowhere BTW because his take on Johnson does not jive with your own hate filled, one he is a fan ofJohnson's? That's the sort of twisted reasoning one would expect from you
You as always, left out that the champion was fighting with a broken arm, but, just as your two fellow haters Ghost and Queensbury nobody takes you seriously on this subject so its of no consequence ,rather like yourself really.
UM YOU WERE BANNED at classic boxing 2 or 3 times under different poster names. Am I lying Tony, Mcvey, and Tonto62 I can copy the names too and post it here as proof. I am correctly quoting Pollack when I say not one judge voted for Jack Johnson in the Jim Battling Johnson fight, but one judge did vote for Battling Jim! Yes, fool, Adam Pollack is banned here. Look it up! Look the fight too, because it is assumed he had a slight arm fracture from the fall in the tenth round. I posted that straight from a news report on the fight.

I posted it in this thread . Read it you old dope. Ghost and Queensbury are just two posters you are at odds with. There are more, and you know it.

              END.

Oh, you are you sure it was not filmed How do you know this? Show me.

They had given him asylum from American authorities, so it ain't like the govt was agin him, but the people chose Langford and Jeannette over him, reason being he wouldn't fight for his own honor in his adopted hometown.

                  But WHY?
FYI The reason the French Federation gave for stripping Johnson of his title was as their spokesman Victor Breyer stated,"It is impossible to allow a convicted criminal to hold such an exalted title."When the IBU refused to follow their line the FFU reversed their decision3 weeks later.
