The Johnson broken arm debate reminds me of Ali-Norton (I).

Ali claimed his jaw was broken in the first round and fought the next 11 handicapped with a broken jaw.

Norton claims he broke Ali's jaw in the last round (12th) and claims he saw it when it happened.

I suspect, when JJ broke his arm, will likely always be a mystery.

Johnson's demand was $30K, Jeannette offered $20K, Johnson settled for less than $5K...closer to $1K. All in the distance of one year. That is a DUCK! If Tyson Fury demands $100M, Joshua offers him $80M, Fury fights Charles Martin for $5M...he just ducked AJ. No one would respect his choice of opponent either.

Four historians are not "most". Johnson is on record drawing the color line as champion, he said so himself, a direct quote from the man. I don't care who agrees or doesn't, Johnson himself said he wasn't fighting them as champion.

Adam Pollack is acknowledged as an expert on Johnson, his biographies are considered the bench mark. JJOHNSON stayed bunkered and hunkered anytime they was in town, a wise move to prevent being embarrassed in Public. The French cheered Jeannette and Langford, but booed JJOHNSON.

They had given him asylum from American authorities, so it ain't like the govt was agin him, but the people chose Langford and Jeannette over him, reason being he wouldn't fight for his own honor in his adopted hometown.
