He’s right. Can’t just come off the boat and beg for the big money fights with such a thin resume. Go earn it.

Morrell is 10-0 and has proven nothing in this sport he sure as hell has not earned a shot at Benavidez. Dirrell is 34-3 and a former 2 time champion he also fought David and Plant . So yes he would be a steup in experience alone ,Dirrell is better than anyone Morrell has fought even if he is somewhat washed high regard ? no one said he was an ATG first ballot hall of famer ...Learn basic reading comprehension, before you quote someone on some bullsheeit .

I laugh when you guys talking about earning a shot. What did ryder, yildrim, Romero and countless others has done to earned shots for belts and some of them for a shot a the cash cow? Everytime he has stepped up he's been ko, he's old and never an elite fighter, it's beyond me why guys like you, you're not along in this, wants to feed an old warrior past his prime against a young, powerful, fast with one punch ko in either hand like Morrell Jr, do you think that's going to prove something? What do you think is going to happens? Feeding those type of fighters are not to prove $h1t. We may get a tradegy instead of a test. Have a little bit of common sense, my bad, I don't think you can learn that.

Like ryder, yildrim and Romero? He's asking to fight the boogeyman not the cash cow. I don't know why you all are against this fight, benavidez is not a superstar that would provide a life changing money, he however is a tough and good as they come, and if you're looking for a real test, look no further because he is the guy.

Morrell is ready for anybody right now, and he really wants the Benavidez fight. Benavidez always needs a willing dance partner, so let's make this happen asap. No sense in marinating anything. They're both tall, rangy, fast, agile, skilled, punch hard, and very confident and aggressive. That will be an all time great match up between two undefeated guys in their prime, both named David. Explosive fight!!!
Hard to argue with any of that except that this fight makes no money. Neither guy has any real fanbase yet. I'm all for this kind of matchup, but Benavidez is on the cusp of a Canelo fight, so it would be the height of ******ity and mismanagement for his handlers to allow David to face a killer like Morrell Jr. right now. Anybody who doubts that the Canelo fight is next can ask why Jose and David have been so quiet and relaxed since his last fight. If that fight was not being arranged by Al Haymon, those two would be going wild talking **** to Canelo every day on social media. But, no, quiet as church mice.

                Hard to argue this.

I agree. He should fight someone with a pulse first. Because at this point the fight is taking steps backwards for Jose.

Why is Anthony Dirrell's name still being conjured up? Morrell would do him worse than Plant/Benavidez did.

                      Quack quack.

You were ready to fight him a year ago... Said you were signed and ready to go.

Let's be honest here. Who in the division do you favor to beat Morrell, besides Canelo and Benavidez, if any of you would even bet against him in those fights either? Anyone willing to commit to a name?

The hypocrisy here is crazy. Let's not forget that Morrell holds the longest standing mandatory obligation for Canelo, not Benavidez. He's been mandatory since the beginning of 2021. Benavidez only since May 22.
