Same thing with other name guys like Plant or Alvarez. Or hell even Andrade gots more of a name then David M. You don't think Osley Iglesias would fight him? Osley is a bad mfer from cuba who's been fast tracked too. You don't think there are others trying to get to the top with potential who'd fight him? You think everyone but Sena is avoiding him??? Bruh cmon. David M is in better position to get good opp then 99% of the boxing world as a guy with a power broker with a TV deal. Even my dude Boots, who is being avoided by the big name guys right now cuz he's not built a name not unlike David M, is fighting higher level guys then David M is fighting. They obviously have been stagnant moving him up for a reason besides everyone but Sena is pissing themselves at fighting him or w/e you are suggesting.
Who is calling him out? Give me a name calling him out. I think if somebody with a name wishes to fight him, his people would arrange the fight. I don't agreed that they been tentative with DMJ, and I don't think too many would agree with that narrative. Now, just because I don't agree it doesn't mean I don't respect your opinion, at the end of the day yours is as good as mine.

This isn't pro wrasslin no one is gonna call him out when there is no money to be made. Ppl call out guys who'll make them money not guys on the way up usually. So idek what you are talking about with that.

They are DEFINITELY being tentative with him or he'd be fighting Osley, Mbilli, Erik B or other peers on, above or near his level instead of cannon fodder for 2yrs.

Have it you way. You think they're and the 10 fights he has so far says the contrary. I think mbilli team were tentative with him, 108-61 in his first 10 fights, compare to Morrell jr, 188-21, who would you say they were more careful with? Just come out and say it, you don't like the kid and you're nitpicking, even thought he's ahead of his class. I like him and I want him to see him fight the upper echelon if he thinks he is ready. You say he's chasing money and I say he's chasing greatness, if not he would be calling for ginger, and he has every right to do it because he is being the mandatory for two years. I'd say this so you can drop the mbilli narrative, they were both in the same organization and as soon as DMJ started knocking out people, he took another path, so they're not only been tentative with him they also took him out of Morrell Jr path.

I haven't said they moved David M slow overall, you keep making up arguments I'm not making. I said they are lingering & being slow moving him up from where he's been for 2yrs now. Osley only has 9 fights. They are moving him fast too. And he's already fought an ex-belt holder in his 5th fight. And he doesn't even got the same money behind him that David M has to get quality opps. David M hasn't fought any ex-belt holder or belt fight challenger yet. Tito Mercado, a 140lb guy who's 3yrs younger than David M with 3 more fights then him & only been pro 1.5yrs, has already fought two ex-belt challengers. I see how teams move guys they have confidence in & aren't concerned with how deep the end of the pool is where they are going. And David M's team is not moving like that right now.

We both know records can mean something or mean nothing. Idk the point of bringing that up. The quality of opps means more to me & that is built on who you fought who's proven themselves at higher & higher levels & David M is a top 5 guy fighting top 30 opps. That says more to me than its says to you obviously.

I know what you're saying, but I don't think is all their fault, maybe Is harder for them to find him a stepping stone. In any case, time will tell. By the way, chimbela has lost every time he has stepped up. I brought up the record because if you fight opponents that are 188-21, chances are that they would be a couple of better boxers than what you would find in an 108-81 resume. Let's wait and see what 2024 brings, and we can revisit our conversation. Be safe and happy holidays
