    I'd argue Terence is ducking the guys at 154 since Madrimov humbled him. Suddenly, going undisputed in 3 divisions isn't a priority.

        No, he's not chasing greatness. There's lots of ways he could have been striving for greatness. He could have fought more than once a year for the past several years and he'd be on the verge of eclipsing Floyd's record. He could have already been the first man to be triple undisputed. That would have cemented him in the history books as an ATG. He's not chasing greatness, he's chasing the bag. Which, for the record, I don't fault him for, but he should have relinquished his title shot vs Fundora and let the division move.

        I note you're still running from the question. Can't find the balls to answer why he couldn't get that third undisputed when it was his for the taking, while he was waiting for Canelo? Boy are you credulous.

          no... unifying the division is not a bigger achievement than beating canelo at 168 no matter how you try to spin it! like for example, you think Inoue cleaning out his current division will be a bigger achievement than Inoue moving up to 135 and beating tank?

            Answer the question... Unifying the division is a bigger achievement than doing nothing and not fighting, which is what he was doing when the Canelo fight wasn't materializing, and if he's good enough to beat Canelo, he's good enough to beat Fundora, Murtazaliev, AND Canelo, and he'd have made more money to boot.

            Stop ducking the question.

              I guess beating Nel o is a great one off win, it will rival best wins ever.. But I guess he could get a lot of great wins in between.

                Exactly. If he's actually good enough to beat Canelo, lesser and lighter fighters should be easy for him, and there's no reason he can't do both. These credulous folks are acting like he can only do one or the other, when he could have easily fought Fundora before year end, then Murtazaliev early 2025, then taken the Mexican independence day fight with Canelo, as he's doing. Instead, he's sitting out more than a year, and it never occurs to them to wonder why.

                  i cant believe no one on this thread has aknowledged that bud going up two weight classes wont be nearly the same fast and mobile fighter he was at 147 or below....
                  this is a matter of a small great fighter vs a big great fighter, this is not pac vs margarito, this will be more like oscar vs hopkins... imho once canelo lands the first power shot bud will go into survival mode just like charlo did and you will all claim he was only there for the paycheck.. i hope im wrong and we get an enterteining and competitive fight...

                    This would be in retaliation to what they , Spence and Uncle Al , did to him by delaying his return to the ring by triggering the rematch clause
                    Cause in all reality it didn't or doesn’t make any sense whatsoever for Bud to have done that when we all know all he wants is cinnamon

                      Yeah, he could have been keeping his options open, but he's unfortunately never been the most active fighter. Not that IceTray is going to figure it out. Same guy that keeps insisting that Inoue needs to fight in the US, as if he hasn't done that 3 times already. SMH.
