i thought fighters are supposed to push for greatness?? if it was any other fighter, ya would be calling for this fight, but why is TC getting a pass??

it's like the TC fans doesnt want this fight to happen because they are afraid TC will lose to canelo (mexican) and will lose his undefeated record and will lose to a mexican.

People believe Crawford is a "great fighter" thus concluding he will beat Canelo. Just cause you are great fighter doesnt mean anything. Their are weight classes for a reason. Canelo is a "great fighter" and got schooled by Bivol. Same logic.

It's a mismatch. He could barley beat amateur Madrimov and doesn't want to fight the other 154s, but rather get a retirement check from Canelo.

This like the McGregor fans who thought McGregor has a chance, just cause he was a GREAT Fighter in MMA with decent boxing skills.

McGregor was never a GREAT MMA fighter. Zero defenses of any title ever. Great at marketing himself though. He's singlehandedly responsible for UFC changing their contracts, because they didn't want a fighter becoming bigger than the organization.

The Lomachanko fight was massive, Loma wanted it, Arum was willing to bankroll it and Mikey decided not to because prime Loma was a stylistic nightmare. From the beginning Mikey Garcia was always trying to get out. He was talented but never committed and didn't like training or fighting. Micky fought because it was the family business and stayed for the money before cashing out like Charlo.

The Garcia's are smart, great fighters, trainers and an asset to the sport but lets be honest....Mikey Garcia never lived up to his potential because his heart was never in it like his brother Robert Garcia.

Boy are you credulous.

If he were looking for greatness, he'd have taken his shot at Fundora. He was TWO fights away from being the only fighter ever to be undisputed in 3 divisions, and that would have actually made a Canelo fight seem more credible. And if he wanted them, both fighters said they wanted him, and Turki said he'd make the fights happen. But he barely squeaked by Madrimov and then sat out looking for the money fight or nothing. He's gonna be in there looking to survive after he feels the power and realizes that Canelo can take his shots, and then he'll be talking about how he dared to be great, just like Charlo did. Canelo isn't on the top of the game in terms of skills and reputation any more either. The one thing he's still on top of the game for is money, and that's what Bud never got for most of his career.

Mikey is one of my all time favourite guys, so many moments & highs & achievements plus he's just a badman in general...

...which is why none of us were toooooo mad when he made what is imho THE most underrated insult of a cashgrab when he turned 'Chunko' & 'fought' Errol lol.

People have opinions like they have a- holes and they all stink.

I don't just think Crawford is a great fighter, he IS a great fighter, I don't think Canelo is a great fighter he IS a great fighter. Weight classes matter but so do skills, physical condition, style, mental toughness and were they are in their career....it all matters and I wouldn't be shocked if it goes either way.

Crawford is attempting to do something nobody else has and that's what makes the fight great. Canelo knows Crawford is coming to win and that's why he wants a brinks truck of money.

Guys like Garcia that claim Crawford is cashing out are really just projecting, they don't take into account that Crawford like Andre Ward can't accept losing anything to anyone for any reason and Mikey doesn't mention it because Mikey doesn't have it, he never did.

Trust me, Bud will out box Canelo and his punches will cause Canelo to halt the bully tactics. Bud is way stronger, equally as skilled as Mayweather with more savage grit. How did Canelo vs Mayweather go? Bud will make it look easier!
