I believe that’s true . Gamboa had Crawford hurt . Spence was never a great fighter. Porter gave Crawford all he can handle. Does Crawford ko Kovalev? That was not even a matchup years ago. Breadman for some reason got all you wishful typing boys believing in Crawford as the if he is Allah! The man does get hit a lot . If a 135 Gamboa almost hurt Crawford. What does Canelo who has more experience and skill do to Crawford? I thought this was about skills ? Waste of time matchup . They both got better things to do at their own weight classes. I think Canelo knocks Crawford out to the body and he pisses blood. Doesn’t make him a bad fighter . But he biting off more than he can chew with this one . Benavidez vs Usyk? Inoue vs Ryan Garcia? No, because Mexicans thought Canelo will beat Bivol, just because Canelo is Mexican. It's more of pride of you natinality or race. They were not looking at facts and more of who do I like and who do I want to win.

Example I thought Nery would have a chance of beating Inueo, but it was more of a Nationality thing. Hoping the Mexican would win. People make up their mind to have a chance in their minds, similar to people who play the Lotto and the Slot Machines and ignore the facts.

Another Example were Mexicans thought Canelo would beat Mayweather. More of pride on Nationality or race. You will support your own becuase it ingrained in you.

Why hold the belt hostage then , why not move up since he was saying he couldn’t make weight ???

There is something to be said about unifying a division though. Once a fighter unifies the division, the reasonable thing to do is move up and fight for titles at the higher weight class. Personally, I would have liked to have seen Bud battle it out with Murta, Fundora, Bohachuk, Virgil or at least 2 of those names before moving up.

The main reason(if we're being honest) fighters are wanting to fight Ginger is for the paycheck that comes with fighting him. I seriously doubt Bud would want to fight him before unifying 154 if fighting Ginger didn't bring a massive payday. That's obviously just my opinion.

dont get me wrong... those names would add more to TC's resume and unifying a division would be a great thing to have on his resume, BUT again, beating canelo would outdo all of that!! which is why i am saying a win over canelo tops all of what you just mentioned! so why would TC battle it out with Murta, Fundora, Bohachuk, Virgil??? when he could just fight canelo and if he beat canelo then he's the top dog. and you do understand, fighting the names you mentioned will take 2-3 years right because aint no way TC gonna fight all of them in 1 year. so you rather see TC waste the remaining of his career doing that????
