Arum maybe a slimball, but a dumb businessman he is not. If ruslan would have lost, the option would have been dropped like mosley when he lost to Pac.

Don't think mike wants anything to do with Provo.

Rios is going to be damaged beyond repair after Pac. I'm not saying that as a Pac-worshiper, but Rios is gonna be a vegetable after Pac.

Alvarado needs to hang them up too. He's been pigeonholed as a brawler. People don't want to see him box even if he could. After his fights with Rios and Provo, he doesn't have much left. His face was battered after the fourth round and only got worse. He's shot IMO and should stop and enjoy his family.

Rios is a different animal and will keep fighting till he can't talk anymore. But that's Rios. He loves that and his long-term health is an afterthought. Alvarado seems like a level-headed guy and his days of fighting should be over after Provo. If he can get some easier fights then he should take them, but not against guys like Provo and Rios who come to throw bombs. He can't take no more bombs. And HBO won't buy Alvarado fights unless punishment is guaranteed.

Get out while you can. Good luck brother.

Anyway, I don't want to see Alvarado v Provo next. I'd rather watch Rios v Provodnikov at 140 depending on how the Pac-Rios fight goes.
I like the idea of Ruslan versus Rios...One thing though, I'm not very confident Rios can make 140 anymore. Seems to be putting on muscle mass for the Pacquiao fight.

Alvarado struggled to make the 140 weight, wasn't he?
Plus: Mike can't show anything new, other than he already showed on Saturday night...

Provodnikov isn't just a slugger or a 'beast" -- he was quite savvy in cutting the ring and throwing a wide variety of punches from mid and close range. Danny would be an appropriate opposition for Ruslan, but this fight doesn't happen...
