That's right buddy, you tell him! He's only in it for the money, because you know all others fighters fight for free! That's what I love about boxing, fighters who just "like" boxing fight for nothing, they just fight and physically damage themselves for free. That's what it's all about, not money, but fighting for free! Shame on Chad for wanting to get paid to fight and any other boxer out there whose trying to make money in the fight game. You all should do it for free...

As weak as the landscape at 175 looks, I'll give Dawson a few good wins and he'll have a belt soon. He's still better than about 95% of the competition at that weight, so I see no reason he can't get a belt. Hell he'll probably beat Stevens if he stays away from his left hand. Golden Boy will probably pick him up and promote him on the East Coast.

I still think he can bounce back. If he wants to sign with a promotor and get the big fights he should sign with Top Rank. HBO has more fighters in his weight class that fight on their network.

You pay Chad 5$ or a million $, he will still fight exactly the same.

The guy fights like he's sparring, he never learned there's a difference.

Of course he's not fighting for free, no one works for free duh! But he's fighting strictly for the money. John Scully said it best, he has no respect for the sport of boxing which is evident on his career decisions. The guy has a poor attitude, he does everything to disappoint his fans and the people who believe in him. His talent and that he's been boxing for a very long time is what got him a belt, but all his poor career decisions and his disrespect to his trainers is now turning into loses.

Because he doesn't care, he's only in it for the money, he's a con man.

Chad has the khan-judah effect. No matter how bad they look, people always give them the benefit of the doubt .

yeah i agree,, he needs to fight cloud, or someone like that, maybe cleverly if he doesnt go to cruiser....

I think someone will sign him, for the express purpose of cashing him out. I could see duva signing him, and showcasing him vs journeymen competition on NBC fights, and then cashing him out vs kovolev... much like how they did curtis stevens and cashed him out vs GGG
