On a serious not though, what the F is this guy wearing?

that was a great performance by Chocolatito, and Yaegahsi fought valiantly as always. But I like Estrada's chances in a rematch. He's not a 31 year old flyweight thats been through the wars Yaegashi's been in. He's also phisically much stronger than Yaegashi.

Yaegeshi gave whatever he had left in that assault at the beginning of Rd 9. Gonzalez took everything that has thrown at him though, and came back with more.

Was rooting for Yaegashi but it's awesome to witness Roman capture a well deserved title. Much respect and admiration, what a champion. Good fight by Akira, a warrior till the death. Great fight overall, lived up to what was expected. One down, one more flyweight mega showdown this weekend.

The fight at this point is as close to 50/50 as you can get. I can't wait until they fight.

Awesome fight awesome fighters it's a shame that most people will miss out on these fights because honestly 112 is the best division in boxing right now Gonzalez has unreal power to go along with underrated boxing skills hopefully him and Estrada go at it a second time!!

U are correct. Central American, in the line of Arguello and and Duran. Honest mistake in all the excitement.

Much tighter defense and better foot work, as well as power. I think Estrada takes the rematch. However, Roman is a magnificent and humble champion. WHat an awesome fight.

Yea he clearly went out there to bring it home or go out on his shield. U don't see a lot of that kind of bravado nowadays.

Estrada is a damn fine fighter and has ridiculous recovery abilities and determination, but he lost to a Gonzalez that didn't take the fight too seriously. Also, I disagree and believe that Yaegashi is actually physically stronger than Estrada despite the fact that Estrada comes in completely shredded. It would still be a super competitive fight, but I just think that if Roman comes in 100% like he did here, he can stop Estrada who really has looked vulnerable in all of his fights (Viloria, Melindo, Sanchez, Gonzalez 1, etc.).

Let's not count out Segura though against Estrada. I have a feeling that Estrada is going to have to pull out a super tough effort if he is going to keep his title.
