I can say Juanma Lopez didn't hate and Wilfredo Vasquez didn't hate and their words proved it. They didn't get ****y about fighting Mexicans because they saw it for what it is, a sport. Luis Collazo, Cintron, Gabriel Rosado and Danny Garcia same way. Cool people. Cotto is out for himself and could care less about being for his people, the way I see it. So Salido was clearly disowning any implications of trying to diss Ricans or be known as having anything against them. That's class.
stop talking out of your @ss.

... i know my sample size is small, as is yours, but you don't see me talking about my experiences with hating @ss mexicans as it pertains to pr boxers because i know that's sporadic. but don't come here acting like it's a juan way street, pocho, it's bottom rung.

It's true... most Ricans hate Mexicans and hate if they are asked if they are mexicans... mexicans on the other hand don't think that way.

I don't get the hate here. Pretty damn amazing when a place so small as PR produces that many contenders and champs over the years to the point to where no other place on the planet produces that many top fighters per capita. The fact is, everyone from almost every culture beats every culture at some point. I'm as big of a fan of Jose Cuevas and Carlos Zarate as I am of Camacho Sr. and Edwin Rosario. I have never once in my entire life rooted for or against a fighter for any fight based on nationality, race, color. I wonder how many people can here say that and be 100% honest.

How was Lopez overrated when Salido beat him the first time? Salido and Juanma lost a big part of themselves after those two brutal wars. Juanma was a very dangerous and proven fighter. It sucks that a PR would say that about Juanma who was a very exiting fighter, his conditioning could've been better but his heart barely fit inside his chest the dude was a warrior.

Population wise, Cuba has 11,375,000, or has 320% more people than Puerto Ricos 3,548,397 people. Because of this large disparity they should not be compared. And yet Puerto Rico has been able to compete at a very high level for years in world of boxing with the most populous countries such as Mexico, which has a population of 119,713,203 people. That says a lot about the Puerto Rican gene pool, and Puerto Rican boxing. And as far as Puerto Ricans being whiners? That's your opinion, which of course youre entitled to. I won't even try retaliate by adding more wood to the fire, to say all Mexicans talk ****. Because, I am not going to paint all Mexicans with the same brush, and I have too much respect for Mexicans as a people, and as my friends. Stay well my friend.
I didn't say Puerto rican fighters are whiners. I said crybabies like stop crying dsg and u. Also why say u wont say it yet say it anyway?

Vicious, check out the end of the last sentence of your original post. Does it not say, and I quote, "and they never whine like pierto ricans"? I wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing things, so I checked your post. Anyway no big deal, nothing to argue about. And as far as the other thing that irked you about my post, it was not my intention to offend anyone, actually far from it.If you were offended, I apologize. As you may have noticed, I treat others as I like to be treated, with respect.

i've met these types of ricans. they typically have a) nothing to offer in life b) are defined by the sole fact that they're rican and c) typically live in ny.

i hate those types of ricans, many of whom belong to my family (in NY) which i have no contact with.

nothing but love for the other side.

juanma wasn't overrated, he was the goods until enough right hands snuck through. siri is just the truth. he's the john wick of boxing (someone make a meme) and while he should have fallen off YEARS ago (especially after that beating that i attended in Connecticut against jmm) but dude is a true fighter through and through.

him and rocky will be good, but i don't see how rocky can win it ... i see this coming down to who has more grit and i've seen it demonstrated in a more blatant fashion by siri than by rocky.
