walters and rigo are both REAL fighters with two different styles. but both never back down and give it their all! unlike cowards like floyd.
wow floyd wasn't even giving his all when he beat manny that's impressive maybe he is TBE.

It is pretty ridiculous since Rigo rarely runs. He tends to want the same distance at all times, whether he has to retreat or press. He maintains a certain distance at all times.

I agree in general. But there are times when he moves too much imo. But not in an 'all fighters should be brawlers' kind of way, more because he makes rounds closer than they need to be. The later rounds vs Cordoba and from round 7 till the kd against Donaire I thought his movement made the rounds more competitive than they should have been

This comment usually mean I don't think I can beat the guy.

How does Rigo "run"? you could say Floyd runs, Lara definitely runs but Rigo stands there like a cobra waiting to capitalize on a mistake you rarely see him "run" GTFO with that lame ass excuse.

I hate when fighters say "I don't like runners" then cut the ring off man, it's like criticizing a power puncher for punching hard. "If he would've hit less hard, I would've beat him..."
No **** a fighter will use their best attributes to win, if you can't catch him then too bad for you.

If you don't want your opponent to run, then stop them. What Walters is really saying here is that he doesn't think he could handle Rigo boxing.
I agree. That seems to be the trendy excuse when fighters can't hit their opponents. "He just ran."

No, you can't. Mayweather has never been a "runner"

I'm a big Floyd fan, but taking the whole "running" **** for the sake of argument, Rigondeaux rarely uses the entire ring like Floyd. So I don't see how they would call him a "runner"
