Im a Kov fan, but we don't eat excuses, Kov was exposed some rounds, same issues with Pascal fight. You have to worry or you'll lose next.

I thought he looked sick but excuses are a bad look. If Ward said that, people would go ape.
I really hope he was just sick because I want Ward/Kovalev to be a competitive clash of the titans. If he wasn't sick, Ward is going to have his way with him. Even though I'm a Ward fan, I don't want that. I really want this to be thrilling.

I get this. I want both guys to be on absolutely top form for November. Chilemba was always going to be a tricky opponent to look good against, but it did appear to me that Kovalev was just looking a touch off- in his timing especially - whether it was homecoming nerves, the fact that it was the site of the Simakov tragedy or the result of sickness, I suspect that the Kovalev of last night would have been dissected by Ward. All I want to see is the best version of each in the ring and may the best guy win.

looked like it. Chilemba had some success as any fighter would waiting to counter. Absolutely no offense. Krusher's jab is a problem for everyone
