Wow, this tells me three clear things:

    1) Kovalev is a DRAW, a bonafide superstar, not just with his fists, but in ticket sales as well

    2) Ward is not a draw. He failed to fill out a regular arena against career losers such as the Cuban sparring partner and British school teacher

    3) GGG truly is a superstar, this guy SOLD OUT complete venues, fighting gargabe truck drivers such as Monroe, Wade, etc. Imagine what would happen if he fought Canelo, in like a football stadium or something.... It would literally break Pac-May records.

don't worry, i was asking on twitter what's the capacity of this venue, because someone said half of the tickets were sold already and just saw fat dan's tweet. this is great.

Admittedly I don't know all the ins & outs of that **** its just something I'm seeing more & more & know there is more going on behind the scenes with. Plus I have trouble believing this fight is selling $2M worth of legit tickets via fans looking to attend the fight in a couple days. Maybe I've overlooked their previous popularity, but I tend to think this is more ticket tomfoolery like is going on more & more these days in the boxing industry by promoters, managers & fighters themselves.
