Wow basically he has to start from scratch already crossing trainers off who won't baby him. He doesn't know when or how to move or punch he is like a newbie. I smell disaster unless he lives and breaths what he's taught by one of only few good trainers left

He has a fight signed but no trainer. That should work out well.

He doesn't listen to his trainer but blames his trainer for not teaching him anything. Sounds about right.

Sounds about right... If he would listen and Emmanuel Steward was still around to train him??? In the famous word of

Guy is in his mid 30's & was a P4P discussed guy. Wut the f#ck are you talking about "take him to another level"?!?! LMFAO. Broner is still in his mid 20's & seems like he's unfocused. He needs a mfer to take him to another level.

Kovalev just need a guy he'll listen to or who wants some nice checks to close out Kovalev's career. Can't teach an old dog new tricks & it sounds like he's an old dog that has no desire to learn new tricks or maybe even legit thinks he needs new tricks. And sh^t he might even be right in thinking that cuz the only guy he's lost to is the guy most consider the #1 guy in boxing right now. Can't dog a guy too hard when those are the only L's on your resume & one of those L's is controversial.

Don't be so negative, friend! I'm also a fan of Kovalev's but i don't think he had his soul lost. Instead, he got a couple of fights stolen of... And he's been legitimately frustrated because of this. However, i think the upcoming bout with this ukrainian guy (Zabranskyy or whatever you write it) will be a 'last call' test for Kovalev. If he wins convincingly, that means Krusher is back and can still hold his own at 175, otherwise i'm afraid he's gone forever. By the way: how about Lomachenko's father as a trainer?
Last but not least: JDJ recently called him an a$$#ole, multiply insulted him and exposed him publicly, Kov called JDJ 'a nice guy' in a recent interview (but eventually fired him). He used to be the bad guy, the racist and stuff and maybe still he is, but certainly he has proven himself more classy than his former trainer...

Dude, why are you lying? Jackson gave you all the instructions needed but a) you either tell him to shut his mouth or b) you don't listen.

Kovalev has a history of being a troublesome student. Ask Roach. Ask Sanchez.

In the first Ward fight I had Kovalev losing by three points. In the second, I never saw the real Krusher from the beginning. He was nervous and less than precise with his shots, he was wasting lots of energies. The low blows may be debatable, but Kovalev knew by then that Ward had his number.

It happened to many hard-punching champions in the past. As I said many weeks ago, to me Ward is to Kovalev what Holyfield was for Tyson. And Tyson was never the same after the two Holyfield fights.

                      2. Good jab when he uses consistently.

                      KOVS weaknesses:

                      1. Soft in the body

                      2. Poor inside fighting ability

                      3. Lack of stamina after 8 rounds.

                      4. Doesn't fight well moving backwards.

Smartest trainer out there now is Virgil Hunter. Kov should have him on speed dial.
Kov is great moving backwards. He outboxed the shiet out of Ward in the first fight. He slick as hell, and he good on the inside. You cant really land on him, and fighting inside is basically still seeing your target and landig up close. Its not as difficult as its made to be. But in the rematch, Kov seemed extremely slow, tired in the first round, and overtrained. To me, I think his team sabotaged him. They all seemed happy he lost imo.
