Wilder-Fury, on the official ticket hosting site (AXS.com), has maybe 1000 tickets left for sale.

Even if they didn't stage the venue for the full ~20000 seats (Santa Cruz-Mares put 12k+ into a Staples Center staged for ~14k), at $1000-$75, Wilder-Fury is still likely already over $3m at the gate, lol (and drastically significantly higher than that once the actual tickets sold gets put out there).

Stage the full 20000 seats, and a sellout in LA likely comes close to matching what took Joshua-Klitschko over 4 times the number of tickets to draw.
loads of tickets left...40% not sold and who ever wanted to buy a ticket alresdh has.
Watch the prices start fallling as time edges closer.
Its a bum fight with a bum card simple as that crackhead

AXS.com has maybe 1000 tickets for sale left on the official site. If re-sellers are taking a bath on the fight, so be it.

The US pricing model is part of their problem and they keep complaining boxing is not the main stream sport. How can it be when you use your pricing system to chase fans away from the sport.

Adopt UK pricing system and see stadium fights in the US. That's the beauty of the sport. Wilder is finding difficult to sell a 21k arena, why? "the price".

If the price is/was $30, it would have been sold out to be honest. This is the only way to improve the sport in the US.
I think the price structure would be fine if it was a casino venue in Vegas - but yeah, this fight was way overpriced for this kind of venue. I like both of these guys, Fury was one of my fav prospects and I want to see this fight, but I've been put off by the ticket schemes and the undercard.

if Wilder vs Fury miraculously does 1 million buys then Wilder will be A side vs AJ hands down. you can't put US PPV sells on the same level as UK PPV. if they do 1 million they will do a rematch and AJ can fxck off. but im not expecting it to sell that much. maybe 200-250K.

I understand your point bro. Irrespective of being a casino venue or not, fight night shouldn't be for the rich alone. The celebrities are just their for the fame and recognition. They are not the real fans of the sport. The main fans don't make it to the event or are been put of by ppv price.

As a fan of the sport I should be able to comfortably pay to go see live events or watch it at the comfort of my apartment without going to a pub.

The US pricing scheme has shot out many fans that are willing to pay to see the fight. With UK price scheme and US population, wilder/fury should be able to hit 2/3mil ppv in the US alone.

These guys are killing the sport in the US. I hope DAZN and match room USA comes through with their project. It will be nice for US boxing.

lol no-one miraculously does 1 mil buys

they could have the most epic final press conference and still not do million buys, only way it does mil buys is if trump tweets for america to buy the fight,

it will do a million buys in uk though

hearn knows this , he gave parker at least 30% and that was public knowledge, so to offer wilder anything even close to that is bs imo, wilder deserves at least 40%

the uk fanboys think aj is a global star, he isnt, his showtime ratings are terrible

Wilders ratings in every country are terrible. He can only make PPV fighting 2 fighters and both are Brits. He's using Fury to make himself appear a draw, but a true draw can sell against anyone. That isn't Wilder.
