Lol exactly, well said. The end of GGG's career turned out about as well as could be expected. Unfortunately we've seen that no matter what he does in the ring, there are a certain number of people who would never give him any credit. I mean look at how everyone says he beat Canelo in the first fight, even the people who hate on him say that. Yet those same people still somehow avoid giving him credit for that great win lol. It's just crazy and makes 0 sense.

He has already proved how great of a fighter he was/is to anyone who is fair and paying attention. If he took on purely 'legacy' fights and won by KO in all of them, the people who hate on him would just say 'yeah but'. Yeah but that guy ******. Yeah but that guy was not as good as he was before. Yeah but he really should have faced this guy, and not that guy. There are no real legacy fights for him right now anyway, besides Canelo.

None of the other good guys at MW have done anything to consider those fights 'legacy' fights. If GGG KOd one of them the people who hate him would just say, 'well that guy ******, everyone knew that, he should have faced this guy' lol. No need to tie up the last part of his career fighting to make his haters happy. That will never happen anyway. They just want him to take on the biggest risk possible for 0 money and ruin his career.

Besides the biggest legacy fight for him right now is clearly Canelo and that just so happens to be the most lucrative fight for him too. A few years ago, to think that GGG would get at least 3 Canelo fights, and maybe make close to $100 million towards the end of his career, I mean what a finish for him. Very well deserved as well.

At mw, charlo doesn't have a belt, Saunders doesn't have a belt, ggg himself doesn't have a belt, after may, either Canelo or Jacob's likely won't have a title. So in many instances, it's safe to say that some of the best fighters in a division don't have a belt. Especially if they got their belt vs a low level opponent or by a controversial decision. Looks like you're reaching to try to find something to criticize when the actual title of the article is he wants to fight the best in his division.
Damn nice. How can Robi recover from this lol

It's not a real 6 fight deal even GGG knows it. He was asked point blank will he fight 6 times and he said I don't know I have to see how I feel when I go back to the gym (also admitted what Sanchez said which is that this entire time he's been exiled after the beating he took from Canelo he hasn't been in a gym.) This is a 2-3 fight deal with the additional 2 years of his contract being all about him being a promoter and wanting dates for his promotional company he is trying to start.

It's also interesting that when he signed they refused to disclosure the financial terms. Many thought they didn't want to tell anyone last week because they were waiting for the press conference and would tell the world then. Nope DAZN or GGG refuses to disclose how much he signed for despite constant questions from the media. Yet DAZN had no problems telling the world Canelo signed for 365M or telling the world how much the Hearn/DAZN deal was. This is clearly being hidden because GGG wants it hidden and because those back end fight dates are phony and likely have no guaranteed money with it. Mike Coppinger first reported he was set to sign a 2-3 fight deal with 10M guaranteed for the first fight and more money depending if he fights Canelo. Likely a rematch clause after that or if he loses a farewell fight. The dates he was given as a promoter are in 2020 and 2021 and both sides are lying pretending he will be fighting in those years when they know he isn't. This is a cash out short term deal to fight Canelo AND only Canelo in Sept while setting up his transition to full time promoter by 2020.

Canelo first fight under dazn was a complete joke despite that guy having a regular title. So Yeah there is a good chance he faces a can his first fight too. Did you complain about fielding for Canelo? And don't give me that move up in Wright nonsense, fielding was so bad that there are some welter weights who'd beat him. Bottom line, is saying that he wants the best regardless of belts isn't a negative comment. It's just Canelo fan boys trying to spin it to make it seem like it's a precursor to a contract full of tomato can opponents. Meanwhile he's faced Jacob's and Canelo in 3 of his last 4 fights.
Canelo didn't wait a yr to fight fielding like ggg did with his next can. See the difference? this isn't about whether I criticized the fielding fight or not(I said if canelo didn't face Someone good next may then it means hes straight up ducking)

The point is that as i've told you many times your biased as can be. Canelo is 28 & didn't choose to age himself an extra yr at age 36 like ggg did,he went up to 168 & took a strap from a complete cherry but it was 3 mos after 2 ggg fights in a row,ggg has been hiding out healing his wounds & now thinks hes gonna get a cherry & then another payday.

If Canelo kos him you'll just say he was old,if he faces Andrade instead you'll say he ducked ggg.

gggs supposedly reverse benjamin button(according to his stans) yet he chose to go in exile for a yr, thaa fck?

Are you truly naive enough to not only think ggg doesn't consider them belts, but to also think that if he was intending to fight those opponents that he wouldn't be touting them as champion opponents?why would he have went through all the trouble of making excuses if he was facing 1 of them?

Those fighters are the best possible opponents he can face if hes serious of" intending to face only who'll help his legacy facing true champs regardless of having belts or not".

How much do you want to bet that ggg faces a can next instead of 1 of the 3 mw beltholders or a beltholder at 168? You sound to be already making excuses 4 gggs next cherrypick/duck & once again going against everything you said about ginger before.
If he beat any of those guys, none of the people who hate on him would give him any real credit anyway. He has a lot of great dominant KO wins in his career but those same people conveniently overlook those. The other guys at MW are good, but none have done really close to enough to consider those 'legacy' fights.

You sound like you are just ready for any reason to try and hate on GGG man lol. If Canelo is next in September, do you really think DAZN is going to set up a killer fight for GGG in June? I mean come on man, think, it's just common sense.

This is why GGG haters have no credibility. They are so desperate for any reason to hate on GGG that they quickly reveal their bias.

Now go on and lineup your next bum before a third fight with cinnamon that no one wants to see. You're not fooling real boxing fans
So would you encourage your favorite fighter to take on a worse fighter, Dervy, for peanuts, rather than facing the cash cow for a career high payday, and a rematch after a controversial draw?

Just think dude lol. Come on.

If Canelo is next in September, can you really advocate for GGG to fight Andrade in June? Makes no sense business wise, for GGG but especially for DAZN.

Don't get offended... Just tell those 97k dumb gullible gggroupies that.... Oh wait... Lmao you are one of them... I give up.
you give up because you've lost. You're literally criticizing him saying that he'd fight someone regardless of belts because he wants the best fighters in the division. I just proved to you that some of the best fighters at mw either don't, or won't have a belt by the time ggg fights. Now if you're reading into his comments as something else, then that's just you being jaded as a boxing fan. Which i can't blame you for. A lot of times boxers say things but do something else. Like when Canelo said he'd never drop his belt and would face the best, then spent nearly 2 yrs fighting khan, Smith and Chavez Jr...and dropped his belt in the process. So who knows. Maybe ggg is full of s*** like Canelo was.

Lol yeah well said. The oddest thing about GGG haters is that they have this stock narrative about him/his resume etc. And then you point out that their narrative isn't true and they just don't want to hear it lol. Like the whole Ward situation. Saying GGG ducked him, I mean it's just ridiculous.

I am fairly certain they all get/got their talking points from the same place and just eat them up and don't think about them. Because for some reason they need to be told that GGG wasn't good, GGG just threatens them for whatever reason. They just parrot the talking point without thinking. They are so desperate for any reason to hate on GGG that it doesn't matter if the reason is valid, they just need a reason.
