I won bet after bet on Lewis...Everyone thought Golota would Ko him, heck there were many who thought Rahman would win the rematch! People were blind. I even remember Merchant saying that he wanted to see Lewis against a decent American heavyweight before the second Rahman fight...
Sorry I missed your response in the midst of replying frantically to the less fortunate and some smart posters...lol

I believe im the only actual poster to share trading any form of hands with Lewis ( believe what you will @ the forum ) you know I don't b,s from personal info I gave you bill even its an playfull one

Not sure you had the experience I had but I can tell you I was a big advocate with the 90's era and saw what was going on that is much stronger ,imop more skilled over fighters then bf 9 yes I know its controversial ) at that time I was 16/19 of age and saw myself while old school guys were twlling me otherwise this includes a fighter named Bill sharkey at another gym I trained under he fought Bruno and others ,our arrangement came to an end resulting in death ( no I wasn't invlolved in there as trolls may look it up..lol) Sharkey was old school ,knew his boxing but always was for the 80's guys....its his era.

I bring this up bc every era boxer will almost tell you their era was the best.

In hindsight I still have a great grasp of how to judge an era, this one is clearly ahead for now ,its to talented and young with others not even on the map yet to the 70's /90's one but that's my take.

I knew Rahman was a one time thing ,its not hard to see whats real/whios real its why I see Joshua winning he should be the ultimate champion in boxing, could I be wrong ? Hell yea ...would I bet against myself coming up with the eras these posters haven't ? My bet is with me here , im still taking Joshua to do a Lewis repeat here.

Theres one fighter that I would be concerned of and its not ?wilder Ruiz or Fury to topple a ready Joshua his initials are V. S.

People always are looking ahead or behind... Yes we have tremendous talent actively doing their thing. Of course when a fighter loses a fight...its all over, forget it, they are done, a bum, an overated, no good rotten good fer nuthin... My only wish for this era would be that the guys fight as often as possible. There are indeed conventions and talents that have evolved, while others have been lost.

Joshua is obviously a very talented fighter. it takes so many things going right to become a great champion. He will definitely be a force in the division and may well become the best.
there are a lot of guys chomping on the bit...

I think we got a lot of fights already ,weve had Parker fight AJ and Whyte and Ruiz...remember that was a top fighter of yours you asked me about back around 2016 ? You were right Parker became champ but I told you would fall short against the others, maybe he prevails still///

The point is even you had have fighters in the mix everyone actually is fighting except Wilder/Fury vs Joshua. It could be a 90's repeat of Lewis vs Bowe if that's the case it shows it isn't this era, really, its the set up again.

And maybe you changed your mind? We were the first ones to bring Whyte into it,better bump that thread of Whyte if he passes the legal issues I think he will.

I have a fight list of 50 live threats ,90% aren't known yet, theyre coming and average 6'5 and tallest 6'10 ( yes I know size isn't evertything but its intriguing to have that stat} ...lol...

This isn't a repeat in general of everyone fighting a 2000's Tyson or late one....most prime guys will fight, you'll see. We have a long way to go its looking good ,one just needs to know the guys, like the Fury fight against wallin a very tough guy,.and most are dismissing it,i would wait and see about that ...Wallin is a skilled smart guy at 6'6 ,may get interesting ?

You know everyone looks back and says ...you know what we really got a lot of great match ups, this is no different and it just starting not ending.

My last response on this subject. You better pray Joshua wins the rematch.

Based on what I've seen thus far, I think the three best boxers of this era are: Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte and Tyson Fury. I need to see how Usyk performs at the heavyweight division before I throw him in the mix. I know a lot of people think Usyk is the best thing since slice bread but just watching his Breidis and Bellew fight, I'm still not fully sold he can dominate the heavyweight division. I need to see how his chin holds when he gets hit by a heavyweight because everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

AJ beats both Dillian Whyte and Fury. And I believe Dillian Whyte has the tools to beat Fury if he doesn't let the mind games get to him. With AJ and Whyte fighting on the back foot would be disastrous for Fury and similar to how Cunningham was able to knock him down. And in the Cunningham fight, after the knock down, he had to adjust and take the fight to Cunningham to get the decision. So he'll have to do that against both AJ and Whyte and that's a brutal knock out waiting to happen.

As for Wilder, once he moves out of PBC's protection plan and face a puncher who can box - he's getting knocked out cold.

Two steroid users and a guy who got KTFO during his last fight. Thanks for your opinion but we're all dumber for having heard it.

You have some great recollections... spot on. Lets talk Parker first: He has to settle down on his punches more. Its killing him. I mean hes not a pressure fighter, hes a boxer puncher and he has good punches when he does not get cute and flick stuff out. Hes got to work that out to go forward otherwise he will not be a threat enough to keep the bigger guys off.

Yeah unfortunately we may well get a Lewis Bowe Mexican stand off which is caused by other forces for sure. Whyte is still on my list. I think he will be cleared as well. I would like to see him fight at a lighter weight but he is scrappy and his skills are in tact, and still evolving. He has that great way of throwing from different angles, and he has some pop. He could be a "sleeper." He matches up well with most of the other guys. That was a great fight between him and Joshua.

The bolded: Those are the guys that it is nice to see get noticed. You have always been great about bringing up some of the guys who are not front running, yet... but coming on up. And yes in the past we have looked at some of the present front runners before they had achieved, you particularly have spotted some guys that I only started to follow after you mentioned them. Like Dominic Brazil.

yeah the herd has to be culled lol. I just wish we could have something like that super middle weight tourney. That was such a great event. And I think Ward was not even picked to win that event.

The real work of fans is looking at the new crop and seeing who might do great things. You have always been on point in this regard. We also both appreciated Razor Rudock who really got a bum rap. Maybe more members here would understand why it is so frustrating dealing with some of the attitudes here if they started to look carefully at fighters like Joshua and Ruiz, when they started.

I think Fury has some major advantages. He has been trained since young...Like James Toney when he is in a boxing ring he looks like he is at home. Also if you actually look at Fury's KO percentage, it is not bad. He is a very accurate puncher. I don't see him being beat right now.

Joshua has power and his punching is improving to the point where his combinations are a real threat to any other fighter. He also appears to be conditioning himself better for the ring.

Whyte is chronically underestimated. He has a great tendency to throw shots from weird angles and has excellent power.

Regarding Wilder: he is the strongest puncher as it stands right now...that could change with Joshua who also has the potential for a lot of power. With punchers it is a numbers game pure and simple: Joe Louis perfected the formula and had 15 rounds on the championship fights to perfect it. A puncher needs to know they will get a certain amount of shots to be successful.

You should observe Fury carefully if you think fighting off the back leg is not a preferred strategy for him. It gives him more time to react to the punches, set traps and use his reach.

The guy he was fighting wasn't fit and wasn't meant to be there. Then you had all the distractions. And then the lucky perfect punch to the temple. Even with all that, he couldn't even get a guy that was out on his feet out of there for 4 rds. He's going to get sparked out into a coma in the rematch.

And stop spamming the thread with that fat bum, Franklin. He won't last 3 rds in the ring with Dubois. I see most of you have stopped hyping that old/slow plodder Ajagba after the Turkish kebab man took him to school, loool.
You keep calling AR names after he epically beat the breaks out of AJ. Plodder or not he's faster than AJ and has a better chin. More importantly than skills he has a win over AJ and the belts.

Dont talk to you WIN!! All that side loser troll talk is why your fighters will keep losing. LOL!! You chumps are still happy about a draw where your fighter damn near got killed. LOL!! Such low standards.

Ive NEVER said on word about Ajagba. I think he's slow and lacks instincts. Its you Brits who like to wank off to these dudes with fitness model bodies (AJ), in the USA skills and victories pay the bills. Franklin/Ruiz are all fat bums until you a Brit in front of them. LOL!!

I give you credit ****Em. You have a lot more spirit spirit than most. You remind me of that little white fan Wilder slapped around the gym because he was internet trolling. There arent enough British bum boxers to disappoint you and make you lose your national pride. 0-30-1 and proud. UK fμck yeaaasaah!!!!!!!
