After the car crash and the booze problems, I was thinking of Spence as a probable KO victim here.

But looking at his pictures in training, he actually looks great. Focused and in great shape.

Therefore I would not be surprised if he reverses my initial su****ion, and knocks Garcia out Saturday night.

      It is.

I too would have expected at least one mid-tier comeback fight. Look at what Thurman does every injury!

I am not sure who will win, but 'By him choosing this fight, it shows his mentality'.

Spence Junior one of the very few american fighters to fight oversea's against top level fighters also etc

... People are praising Spence for fighting Danny...
... I rather think that Al Haymon was fed up with Errol's behavior outside the ring...

Also, in interviews Garcia is already talking about his business plans after he retires from boxing.

Not a good sign if you ask me.

You are the only person that thinks Spence is ducking Bud.
Bud has 5 fights at 147 - all against Journeymen.
Until Bud fights a top 5 WW, most boxing fans he’s just ducking guys like Spence, Porter and even Thurman.
He isn't the only one who thinks that way to be honest, since early 2018 it has been excuse after one another. The excuse about Bud fighting "Journeymen" is also quite lame.

If they want competitive fights then get in there or encourage the Spence/Garcia winner to get in there with him. That would be competitive. But like Angel Garcia said "Why does he want to fight my son and PBC fighters"------After turning down 3M dollars to fight in 2018 for the WBO belt.

Excuses and resistance like those are the reasons he is fighting whoever he can find at 147.

Spence over 12, I really hope he doesn't come unstuck. But it really would represent a miracle if he's coming into this fight free from multiple niggles/minor injuries.

What about you, how do you see it?

He had to to win the title. He is more than comfortable fighting the rest of his career in the DFW area

Had we chewed the proverbial fat about this fight pre-Cannonball Run Errol I probably would have said Errol due to his showing to that point and because Daniel had a propensity to coast rather than turn it up. But then I notice that Errol looked more destructive prior to his last two fights and that may be because of the love of the sauce during training. It’s really hard to call. Garcia had a granite chin and can really swat with that Philly left hook and looks to be cracking harder with the overhand right lately too. Spence will be punched harder Saturday night than he ever has and we just don’t know if the accident will have an effect on his jaw. We saw what a cracked orbital bone did to Brook’s punch resistance....Errol had his teeth knocked out in the accident. It’s conceivable that his jaw may be knackered.
I call Errol on points but with no real confidence. This is a pickem fight.

And it still wasn't big enough obstacle for Fury v Wilder. And money-wise, it's better if more broadcasters are involved. so yeah, just lame excuses. and you know it.
