City finally overcame their european stage fright... they were nowhere near their best tbh but who cares as long as you win.

It's weird considering their rare achievement in England of winning a treble because they dominate matches and are a great team but i don't think their team player for player is that amazing in comparison to other great past English teams e.g. 08 man united. But credit to Pep he gets the best out of a lot of players and obviously they have high quality depth. Pep is one of the few guys who could create a system to make Ake and Stones crucial players in inverted roles as part of a dominant team.

City finally won CL after spending 600 million.

The funny thing is idiot United fans trying to mock them to spend too much money. They spend 1 billion and couldn't win anything lol.

Seems like Man City will be the club of the "big" club of the foreseeable future as well.

Yeah but I don't expect him to play the full 90 minutes

we have a new coach and he's trying out new things, rotating the squad, changing formations

A friendly is perfect for that

I was at the US/Mexico game in Vegas tonight. Wild time with the fights, red cards etc. But on an important note, this is the most dominant the US has ever looked against Mexico in a competitive match and it was no fluke. Yes, Mexico was missing pretty much all their top attackers, but not once in this game did it feel like Mexico had a chance.

The US was the clearly better team throughout, despite playing infront of a crowd that was 80-90% Mexican. Six straight games now that Mexico has not beaten the US. Tonight really felt like the final shift of dominance on this continent and it manifested in fights, on the field and between Mexican fans in the stands. The US has now become the big brother in the rivalry and it feels like the gap is only going to continue to widen.
