Sterling is a given, put him in Bayern, he scores. Put him in Real, he scores. Put him in Milan, he scores. Put him in PSG, he scores. He already was scoring for Man City. He's proven, he is a player. Just not for Chelsea. Why? He's a cherry on top, not the cake.. and Cheese don't even have a cake to put the cherry on top.

Enzo is actually good, wrong club, wrong time that... plus he is probably moving towards the mean now. If he joined Liverpool,I am 96.7% sure it is a different look from him.

Caiceido...We have bought 3 Brighton additions besides him... none of them are good. Caicedo doesn't exist to me.

The mind blowing thing to me is the one player that actually looks good is a Man City product.

But what I really wonder is, does he look good because the team is not good (see: Willian) or does he actually have a vaulted ceiling? Because there's no way someone can point at him and tell me he's better than Mount or Havertz. I'd add Pulisic too but he'd have got injured anyway, so its irrelevant.
Tbf if Sterling can only score in those elite teams that's not a glowing endorsement. All of us here could bag goals playing in those teams lol

I do like Sterlkng though. He has that ability to frighten any defender. I could never rely on him for goals though.

That Jackson hatty was the ultimate example of this.

      He was diabolical.

I mean, considering we've had some players that could score on good teams but can't score playing for Chelsea? Sterling is safe imo. We took multiple 30 goal strikers and made them relegation level.

I'm wondering if Solanke can be called back up to Chelsea.

And just like that, Sterling shows his quality against the best club in the league.

I'll take the draw. Well fought.

Great game! Cole Palmer is going to wind up being Pep's "The One That Got Away". Good team effort: It's almost like the light came on the last 30 minutes of the Arsenal game.

Chelsea with the two most exciting games for years in a week.

We have been absolute AIDS for the best part of 18 months.

I love this Cole Palmer tbh. A good player obviously but also just because he's so calm and has a gargantuan ego.

Very rarely almost literally never under the new ownership have we got the right player at the right time. Cole is that.

The club is his for the taking.

Cant understate how comfortable he has been and the risk he did take. Chelsea is a club that made Salah and De Bruyne quit because they didnt have the heart for it.

Chelsea's issue tbf is beating dogsh.it teams who shi.thouse and basically show a disgusting style of play. I cant see that changing without Nkunku hopefully being a goalscorer and probably another goalscorer.

I'll take the odd great game though

Chelsea being in mid table might be acceptable is the games are box office.

                Beating City isn't for everyone.

                  Everton docked 10 points.

They should 2000% appeal and fight that to the highest courts

If Man City can get away with it. They shouldn't be punished.

I want them to dock us points

                    30 or something.

                    Championship would be absolute banter.

If Chelsea did get docked points you can guarantee everyone will moan because Chelsea aren't very good at the minute and therefore not a punishment we would even care about.

That seems like a harsh punishment for Everton tbh, especially considering their losses ended up being only around £20m above the threshold. A transfer ban surely would make more sense.

Anyway, like Carragher said at least it didn't happen last year, they should still be able to comfortably avoid relegation with the teams down there this year.
