I would say I dunno if it's worth trying to be cheap and disgraceful against Chelsea which was the tactic vs Chelsea for the last 4 years for most of the league. You might as well try and be positive, press them high and try and dominate them because you could spank them on the right day because they are the most brittle looking team in the league.

Playing a pathetic 10 man low block I don't think will work with constant quick, tricky forwards rolling off the bench.

I'd take that tbh. For a long time all our games basically looked the same. Aside from City who are too good for us sometimes, Liverpool who would push up, Spurs who are kamikaze, Arsenal who would push up.

Even fancied teams like Villa are pretty pathetic vs Chelsea really. Play like bums.
    Fair.

How do you go about getting tickets to games at the bridge?

I remember you said the Irish supporters club maybe. But next year might be the time to see Stamford Bridge.

Even if I'm 2000% against this board room buying players like Felix.

What are your normal bets looking like?

You betting 10 bucks on the score line or do you go big? 1000+?

Let's just say I'm betting peanuts. Nothing to cry over.

Really hope to see Palace rise to the occasion and take down Chelsea tomorrow, for as bad as Chelsea has been recently, they have dominated Palace, can't even remember the last time we beat them.

Was an interesting window, lost Andersen but kept Guehi. Chalobah in on loan, expect him to be great and then head back with double the value like Gallagher did. Lacroix another good addition at CB and Nketiah is a bold move in attack, plus Kamada, Sarr and Riad earlier in the window. Swapped Johnstone for Turner. Think they could have used another 10 and a backup LWB, but nice moves in general. Interested to see if they will try to play Nketiah and Mateta together at any point. Lot of money to have Nketiah come off the bench, but no other 9's on the roster with Edouard and Ayew out, so not sure how often you can play them together.

I'll take the smash and grab point at Stamford Bridge with a thin bench

I've not tried to get tickets of them for a while tbf but I'd ask for you - in general I reckon it is probably better to watch Chelsea or any team play away if it is a once in a lifetime sort of thing.

Stamford Bridge is very dry these days.

I know supporters clubs need to consistently sell their allocation or they lose their gold status or whatever it is.

Surprises me how hard it can still be to get tickets.

That said, I am certain home tickets against the likes of FC Noah, Shamrock Rover, and Barrow in the league cup might actual go on general sale or with low/none loyalty points with a membership.

if Chelsea remain sh.it i'm certain you could just buy a ticket for a home game against a bottom half prem team with just a membership eventually.

For a big game, I think it would be too messy. Go the membership route and pay your annual fee but that would be expensive overall as you'd have probably buy tickets to games you'd not he attending to get points for it. Try supporters groups through someone like you say!

Alternatively, you could probably watch Chelsea get mangled at the Etihad for the cost of a city membership and ticket price and sit in the home end, lol.

I'm half tempted to get a City season ticket at times but I usually work and it would be a betrayal.

A lot of these clubs up here arent particularly well supported. The likes of Blackburn, Wigan, Burnley, Blackpool if they ever make it.

Worth keeping an eye on teams like that making a run too for an away day

Missed the game but it looked like a hard earned point.

Chalobah on a straight loan is crazy business.

Chalobah and Guehi is a stronger pairing than Andersen/Guehi and then the other guy who is highly rated.

A point at home to Palace is disappointing ordinarily because we always beat Palace but I do think Palace will have a very good season.

                  Portugal win/draw
