Today is the last straw and I'm tired of taking their ****. I live in a somewhat quiet suburban community. Mostly older white folks live here, but the Hispanic population is growing rapidly.
Anyway, there's this house about 3 houses down from where I live and I swear they have no adult supervision whatsoever. They are loud, they skate at all times of the day, they pot (which I personally don't care about), they light illegal fireworks (late at night) which fly into our backyards and roof tops. But the worst thing is they throw **** as passing by cars. Today they threw a lemon at my car as I was passing by. And right before that happened I was su****ious at all the broken lemons all over the street. So I know they were doing this for quite some time today. (And it's not the first time I've seen them do it). They've lowered the property value on our entire street because they literally have a skating ramp in their front yard, as well as a grinding rail and literally a PARK BENCH that they stole from a local park. Their house is the only one without any grass since they don't water it.
So I called the non emergency crime hotline for my city and they said they'd send someone out. So I sat inside my room looking out the window to see what was about to go down. But what happens? The cop just strolls by at 5 mph, comes to a quick stop, then leaves. Doesn't even go up to the house at all. I gave them a specific address and everything. And I even told them that they wouldn't be outside, because they were throwing the lemons at cars from their backyard. They didn't even bother to investigate, I mean wtf? Couldn't they have seen all the lemon peels on the floor like I did?
If my information is correct, there are 4 to 5 people who live in the home. The main perpetrators are 2 juveniles, but let's be honest they are high schoolers and they should know better. I checked their house, they have no cameras at all. I'm thinking about egging their house late at night but maybe I can do something more creative?
I don't want anyone to get hurt, I just want to hand out some karma. Any suggestions?
And no, I can't confront the home owner because the older brother is a gang member I think, and there's an older guy who I assume is their father but he's just as loud and obnoxious as the kids. And he's never home.
