The word "Pachuco" in Costa Rica refers to somebody who uses a lot of slang and are from the lower class whereas in Mexican slang it's what people called the zoot suiters that originated in El Paso/Juarez in the 1930's.

fregar for ricans is to wash dishes, for mexicans it's to mess around/ bother.

when I was in Honduras last summer, they called them pulperia

most of them had bars like in the pic, you cannot walk in and pick out what you want

it took me forever to pick what I wanted, no candy with chile, no fruta con chile, no soda mexicans (Joya, Jarritos o escuis)

Banana soda was good tho, and some of the plantain chips had chile, they were good too
