My main issue with your previous statement is mentioning the irrelevancy of victories over solid names simply because of missing out on one fight.

Truth be told Frampton can build a strong resume with or without Rigo, he is in a position that Rigo longs for. Rigo is in Limbo(sadly) at the moment and doesn't have many years in the tank to wait it out. So although Rigo is the superior talent, Rigo needs the likes of Frampton or Leo to gain more grounds in the sport, and he doesn't have much time. Rigo can't afford to miss out on said names thus the urgency to lock them down. Sadly nowadays skills dont pay the bills anymore. If you get you lights cut out in the ring it seems like the same fate awaits at your residence.

Now there might not be any roadblocks hindering this fight, but reality is Rigo has damn near no say or leverage to decide who he fights next, which sucks.
Rigo is in a position of very low drawing power due the way he has been poorly handled/promoted. Sucks for him to have a leeching crew of promoters shopping him around, he just needs to keep fighting. The same can't be said about Carl, he has his options as you've pointed out.

I might have exaggerated my point that Frampton's resume would be irrelevant if he passes up on fighting Rigo, but it would leave a big question mark if the fight is not made in the future. Rigo may be old in age, but he has hardly been tested or taken damage, so time, I think is on both of their side.

See the difference? **** outta here clown. And I never defended Lara fighting bum ass Ishe. I made a sarcastic remark about Haymon getting him a 7 figure payday to fight a bum.
Hell yah Danny cherry picked. So one of haymons biggest assets, lineal ring magazine champ, WBA, WBC champion, didn't have other options from haymon? Mathysse, Peterson, whoever else he has at 140. Compare that to haymon working with other promoters to make a fight (which he doesn't really do) yah you douche they're the same thing... Lol
Does haymon hav any other champs at 122?

sure you were being sarcastic. Fck outta here guy I'm done with you.

Literally everyone wants to fight Santa Cruz.
That's bull****. Maybe none of the champs want to fight him but you're telling me there's 65 other guys ranked in front of that guy who don't wanna jump at the opportunity to dethrone rigo? Ok. Lol I'm done here

I see what you mean and you are right in that regard. I really hope Frampton does take Rigo on in the future, not only for himself but for the sport as well. Rigo deserves a lot more than what he is currently working with, sadly by keeping Caribe around he isn't doing himself any favors. I think a year and a half to 2 we will see the fight materialise, by then Rigo will hopefully have his situation straightened out and Frampton will be done preparing himself for the challenge of a lifetime. Anyway respect, it was nice to actually talk boxing without flaming each other.

Hahaha. He REFUSES to criticize the Mexican fighter for Cherry picking.

            Garcia - Cherry picker
            Mayweather - Cherry picker
            Lara - Cherry picker
            Rigo Cherry picker
            Broner - Cherry picker

            Santa Cruz........Bardock to the rescue!!!!!!!!!!

So you're saying Rigo wants to fight the champions but he's ducking the fringe contenders?

Dude....take the loss. This thread is not a good look for you.

The point is he's being forced to take these fights because no one is willing to step in the ring with him. If you can name me off some guys that are willing to fight Rigo and are not just all talk like LSC, then by all means go ahead...
