Which "road block" is stopping this fight?

The weight for starters. Wait till the real negotiations take place. Plenty more will pop up. You can count on that. Excuses to marinate it like Floyd did to Pacquiao.

Hell yeah, give "lil g" the belt and you can let the fight marinate for as long as you want; #diva mode.

Oscar is non committal because he knows Canelo will lose. After seeing what happened to Lemiuex, he thought **** lets avoid this fight at all costs. The excuses will get better after the fight in May.

Canelo and DLH are waiting for GGG to turn 40, then Canelo will be ready lol

No doubt about GGG needing a bigger name opponent, but Canelo's no Trinidad going into the Hopkins fight, he's the opposite.

Where Trinidad was killing monsters like Reid, Vargas, and Joppy, Canelo is fighting a little glass chinned WW who ****** against a journeyman in Algeri.

People already expect Golovkin to beat Canelo, this only supports that belief. If Canelo were to have taken on a top-level fighter like Jermell, Andrade, or J-Rock and look good, then people might actually believe he's improved enough to challenge GGG. Canelo would've got more respect if he picked a top-level WW like Porter, Thurman, or Brook, but choosing to fight Khan is a sign of weakness.

I would say that if GGG were fighting someone like Charlo, Andrade, or J-Rock, instead of Wade, it would help sell the fight. Canelo sells because we've seen him in with Mayweather, Lara, and Cotto. Those are the type of fighters that the public HAS NOT seen with GGG. Khan may be a mismatch, but Khan has more name value than Lemieux, Monroe, and Wade.

But there's obviously something different going on here. I feel their sparring session has had more affect on him than we're led to believe. I hope I'm wrong because this is too important of a fight to make.
They making it known that Canelo isn't ready yet, that's why they are stuck on 155. At the end of the day they can always drop the belt.
