In the end, Arum's intention is to methodically build Crawford up to a mega fight with either Spence or Thurman.

Could he lose to Horn? As Adrian Broner would say, anything is possible.
Wow that is ******ed. You do realize Baldomir had three belts, was the lineal champ, and the only reason he did not have the fourth belt is because he didn't get paid enough to pay the sanctioning fee.

Beating a guy who earned the title "undisputed" champ, is a far, far cry from a retired school teacher with one belt, that he won off a 40 year old.

Bud just wants paper titles. He has NEVER went after any names. He literally hasn't. Fighting Lundy, Postol, Indongo, and Horn is not building up for any mega-fight. Those are gatekeepers. Look at Prograis, he already has equaled TC's biggest win. Arum isn't building Bud up to lose to someone not signed to TR.

Keith is a great fighter and a unification with Spence would be an amazing spectacle. I just have a nagging feeling that he might abruptly hang his gloves up. Go out on top, at least on credentials. Seems like he’s trying to find himself as of late and it’s taken a lot of edge off of him. Might not have the heart for it anymore

Carlos Baldomir had a belt, he was no world beater

In context, Carlos beat Zab for the belts in a fight Zab was winning until he gassed out, just as he did in his next 3 fights.

At the time Baldomir won the belts he was also considered by every boxing official on the planet to be the weakest belt holder from 147-154, a temporary place holder.

The potential opponents at 147lb for Carlos were Vernon Forest, Oscar delahoya, Shane Mosley, Paul Williams, Margarito, Cintron and Cotto.

Carlos knew (correctly) that he would lose to any of the aforementioned opponents so he instead offered (sold) his belts to the first opponent willing to pay him one million dollars (verifiable). Floyd knowing that he needed a belt made the single highest offer to Calos Baldimor. (Another verifiable fact).

Carlos lost every round convincingly. Calos went on to to lose 50% of every fight for the rest of his career (also verifiable).

In the end, Baldomir didn't even rate a paper champ, he was a feather duster salesman with a face that could take a beating.

          I was there....NEXT!

Spence is the boogeyman at welterweight.. Everyone talks about Thurman, Garcia, Porter, but peep how no one mentions Spence in a serious manner. Heck, you have Mikey Garcia talking about him but that's him just trying to get his name out there too. There's no way Garcia moves up to 147 anytime soon. No one wants Spence right now.

Thurman's working his way back from injuries so he's going to try and play it smart and make sure he can punch how he wants to.

Bout time some fighters saying this. I & a few others been saying this.

Seems obvious the guy has one foot out of the game already. I legit wouldn't be THAT surprised if his next presser was to announce his retirement instead of a fight lol.

They on that reverse Wilder sh^t.

                    Avoiding talking about it.
                    Don't think about it.
And run away if it looks like you about to receive it.

They aren't trying to speak Spence into existence into the ring with them. F#ck that sh^t.

Wow, you are really ******ed, aren't you. Baldomir beat the unified, undisputed champ. And you are saying Baldomir should have faced someone besides Floyd???? He was also considered the strongest beltholder at 147 when he won the titles. Because the only title he didn't have was the one he did not pay for.

Floyd fought UNDISPUTED WW CHAMPION. UNDISPUTED.

Horn is a retired school teacher. Baldomir was also close to 170 in the ring. Fighting for one paper title and fighting the UNDISPUTED CHAMP are two totally different things. You could say Indongo was similar, because, INDONGO WAS FAR WORSE THAN BALDOMIR. BY EVERYONE. But, it did allow TC to capture all four belts. Which is what Floyd did when he beat the ONLY OTHER BELT HOLDER TO BECOME UNIFIED CHAMP.

Call him paper champ all you want, the fact remains Baldy was the undisputed welterweight champion of the world.

You got schooled. If Floyd would not have fought the 170 pound undisputed welterweight champ, you would still be crying about how Floyd ducked him.

UNDISPUTED. Not the same as one belt won off a 40 year old man. 4>1. Math obviously is not your strong suit, but four is more than one. Everyday.
