In other words, Bob Arum said DAZN was offering Deontay Wilder a salary cap deal with a glass ceiling.

btw, every new day is in AJ's advantage and Deonkey's disadvantage.
      Says you????????

Yup! DAZN emailed Arum the contracts.

They are holding out on the potential that an AJ fight would eventually get made. They may never agree to terms without them on the same network. Or in the mean time, either fighter could be upset, either fighter could be seriously injured either in boxing or a non boxing injury. All while holding out on the idea that both fighters will stay undefeated and be able to make a deal in time that gets Donte more than $40 million. In the mean time both with fight cans.

An egg in the hand is worth two in the bush, Id take the $40m fight with the $40m rematch clause. Guaranteed $80m. It gives the fans what they want, it gives you the best fight for your legacy and it is a good financial decision IMO too.
Making the same amount in the rematch as you made in the first fight if you win is a smart business decision with no way to make upside money? That’s what arum/Haymon/Finkel is getting at.... A rematch will be bigger for both guys if either one wins

No you won’t they already raised the price and after 2020 the annual deal they offering now to keep subscribers will go up too

Crawford 3 division world champ, 140lb unified champion. he had a pay per view fight before any Haymon fighter. beaten Burns, Gamboa, Postal, Benavidez, Indongo, Horn.

Spence best fight was against a former featherweight. Thurman and Porter are the only fighters who have fought consistent good opposition. Even so Thurman almost retired and only fought once in almost 2 years. Look at the $ Joshua makes compared to Wilder. Wilder is no star and he is almost 34yrs old. Spence is almost 30 and he has only won one world title and has to beat up former featherweights instead of fighting welterweights or super welterweights.

BTW I am no promoter sycophant, I could care less about promoters. This new promoter sycophant thing that has been going on is a new thing. I am just citing the facts and what Haymon has done with his stable for almost 10 years, and none of them are Mayweather type stars. They are not even 20% of what Mayweather became.
But if you are being honest no one is a Mayweather type star. Certainly not Loma or Bud. Floyd was a generational type talent that had people buying his fights as fans and in hopes of seeing him lose. Casuals knew Floyd. They don't know Loma or Bud and it's not Loma or Bud fault either. Fighters fight and win. That's all they can do

I see the teenage girls are counting celebs money again! Who cares about him turning it down, sign the fight with no options. That's all we should care about. Until then, blame the fighters. They can easily demand to fight each other next.
