Leverage is all about who has options.
Canelo makes $35 million no matter what.
These guys ducking have no other options to make what their being offered.
They can take a career payday and if they beat Canelo then call their own shots. Or they can duck an L and claim money was an issue when they won’t see that offer again in their careers. Their choice.

They actually have multiple options because of what DAZN is paying.

They’re not getting offered $12 million, they’re getting a fraction of that. That means they can fight each other, Andrade, Jacobs or GGG and make the same payday Canelo is offering.

Let's see them do that, then. For far less money.

GTFOH with that nonsense. Smith is being offered more than his net worth. He’s never made anywhere near what was offered and wouldn’t see that against any other fighter, DAZN or not.
I know your a resident troll here but at least try and operate in some reality.
This is all about avoiding a loss. Shame he doesn’t have the confidence in himself to beat the cash cow and set up bigger paydays for himself. Some guys go after it, some guys hide behind excuses and don’t dare to be great.

It won’t be for far less money.

If GBP offered $12 million, they couldn’t get that.

But the offer is a fraction of that. Smith and Saunders will get a payday on par with that offer without fighting Canelo.

Blame DAZN. I’m sure GBP is.

He’s using business sense. He can fight Jacobs, GGG, Saunders and Andrade and make a comparable payday. A win over any of them gives him more leverage in a Canelo fight.

Why did Canelo throw a low ball offer to GGG?

When he offered a non percentage purse.

Is this Al Haymon??? Ain’t no one paying Andrade and Saunders $12 million not named Canelo.

I’ll match you $$4$$$ on that bet. Only reason Jacobs is again because he negotiated that in his fight with Canelo.
