You, Ricky weren't just infighting. You mixed karate, jiu jitsu, and pulling arms out of their socket

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but looking back he should have been prepared for Cortez to referee like that.
No way was he going to referee the fight that allowed Hatton to use his rough house tactics that worked so well against Tszyu. I remember the look on Cortez's face when the Brits typically booed the US national anthem and thinking that doesn't bode well.

He was never going to out-box Mayweather but should have had a plan B, as looking back Cortez was kinda predictable.

Hatton's Tszyu strategy was an intentional smotherfest - it wasn't clean infighting as he would like to believe. Hatton would constantly clinch & hug everytime Tszyu would land clean on the outside. Hatton is nuts if he believes every ref should encourage his one sided frenetic grab-a-leans.
This is boxing, not a one-dimensional freedom pass to please a scattered few hometown fans that happened to show up. PS4 aint even got that much grabbing, you've got to box at a comfortable distance to score - which includes infighting.

I couldn't watch after so many rounds. It was clearly a bias ref letting Hatton get away with so much holding and hitting while holding. I don't even count that as a victory. Tszyu should have no bad feelings about that fight. It wasn't a fair fight.
Of course when Hatton comes to the USA without the bogus hometown ref, look what happened.
