Today out of the entire midfield, I would say Pogba was the worst player. The front 3 were trying things, trying to take on their man and had chances. Bruno was playing some great balls, especially first half and was being a leader out there too. Fred was ok, not awful not great. I feel for him a bit because he showed us that he can actually play pre-covid19 but since then he hasn't really had much time on the pitch. Pogba tried some fancy passes that never worked out.
It's kind of hard for him too as the front 3 just aren't that seasoned yet to make FULL use of his game. That being said, where would he go? Utd are a club that are on the rise IMO after being pretty shocking for the last 8 years. I think they are on the right track with the front 3, Bruno Fernandes. AWB is great at defending and has good workrate. I don't really rate the other 3 at the back. They need a CB BADLY. I think the last 3 Man Utd games that I have seen live, Lindloff was on the wrong side of his man for 2 of the goals conceded in 2 seperate games and today he was too far behind his back to intercept the pass although the pass shouldn't have really gone in in the first place.

Pogba was very good in that game but gassed like all the United players.
Managers dont win games often but....
I thought Solskjaer was extremely poor on the night. United were so leggy from about 65 mins onwards. He never changed the system when behind and made his first sub on 87 mins.
It is weird. He only looks like a real manager against Chelsea.
Whilst I think Lampard is the guy for Chelsea. I'd be stunned if Solskjaer outlasts him as a coach.

Honestly I can't buy any European competition as legit this year.. you can't change the format half way through the competition
Even if it was decided at the start of the season.. having one off ties instead of 2 legs is just bs

Ole just sets Man United out to counter attack. He's found a decent formula but he hasn't seen enough Sevilla to really put anything together to beat them.
This is Sevilla's competition anyways. They have the most Europa's don't they?
Ole really had it stacked against United when he sets out to counter attack, a counter attacking club, in their tournament.
It's like counter attacking Atletico Madrid. It's kind of dumb. Even Chelsea has been blasted by Atletico, trying to out counter their counter.

Sevilla v. Inter Milan will be interesting.
For the aforementioned reason, plus potentially Conte's first continental trophy as a manager.
I got Little German v. Big German for the UCL final though.
Would be something though if Neymar and Mbappe can get PSG over the proverbial hump. There's the tactical battle behind that one as well: Tuchel vs Nagelsmann.
Nagelsmann looks like potential to be a Chelsea manager at some point.
