Pulisic needs shifting this summer though. Weakest player I can remember.

Physical strength of Tom Hanks in Philadelphia.

Golden 2 month patch of form sustained him for too long. Proven levels below the standard required.

City vs Althletico wasn't football, it was garbage on the pitch. La Liga isn't going to do shlt, EUFA needs to crack down on the goonery.

Either one of the managers at Pool or City.

Antonio Conte would've turned Chelsea into a dynasty though. That, I still have no doubt over.

        Side note:

The lads tried but couldn't pull it off.

Is it just me or was Rudige the culprit for both goals?

I know I've been poking at Rudiger recently, I don't dislike him at all. I stood by him when many Chelsea supporters wanted to kick him out over the Lampard issue. The same ones that love him now, wanted him gone then.

My thing is, he's 100% not worth that money. Dude was wrong footed on Benzema's goal and got lost on the volley. Both goals being down to Rudiger losing position. Man has been looking like David Luiz the past two or so weeks and not to mention he can't play in anything but a back 3. lol

I don't think Conte really does dynasties does he?

There is always the accusation that he's a bit lame in Europe too, going back as far as his Juve days.

The dude knows how to pick a player for his system though. Loved what he did in Jan

If I had 200m quid to buy players I'd give it to him in a heartbeat.

Wasn't that why he left you boys? Something about him wanting certain players and the directors said nah we got other plans?

"GOAT" Ronaldo with a hat trick against the worst team! How does he do it?

He sort of did, indirectly. He laid the foundation of Juventus for a decade+ of Serie A dominance after ~3 seasons in charge. Starting with an undefeated title season in season 1.

Allegri's claim to fame is really just using Conte's players and system for the rest of the decade with +300m in transfers added to it (Higuain, Dybala etc). Yet, never being able to match Conte's last season there (2 losses whole season) never mind going undefeated like Conte's 1st season... while still not winning Europe.

If Chelsea would've backed Conte like they did Sarri and Lampard. Chelsea would've had:

              Virgil Van Dijk (soton)
              Bonucci
              Kyle Walker (spurs)
              Alexis Sanchez (arsenal)
              Romelu Lukaku (everton)
              Fernando Llorente
              Oxlade (arsenal)

To a team that already had Hazard, Kante, and Cesc.

Would've been lights out for the league. That team would've been too stacked from back to front. Other than Oxlade, who would've been ineffective?
Those 7 transfers would've taken Chelsea to another level.

Instead he got Bakayoko and Drinkwater.

You see, the difference between me pointing out Messi and you pointing out Ronaldo is that my statements come from a place of rationale. Your's from a place of clear staning.

There's no excuse for Messi to have 3 goals and 13 assists as a forward with THE best club in France, reunited with Neymar and where half the league is Norwich to begin with.

13(!) clubs in that league have a total market value less than Brentford. Essentially over half that league ARE Norwich.

This IS Messi's single worst season of his career since winning his first Ballon D'or, his first time playing club football away from Barcelona, and he's unequivocally s.hitting the bed.

Even Dimitri Payet has a greater return than Messi in that league at this very moment and he plays for Marseille, not 900m PSG.

If the roles were reversed. Ronaldo joined Manchester City and only had 3 goals to his name with 10 assists and Messi had 15g and 3a carrying Lyon. Ronaldo would be "finished" and Messi "proving he's the best ever".

The evidence is unfolding right before everyone's eyes and the media doesn't talk about it, but instead of acknowledging the truth, you just want to hate.

I'm a HUGE Messi fan, but I absolutely cringe when I see other Messi fans dumping on Ronaldo (and vis-a-versa). The guy's a pinnacle ATG and he's proven he still has something left in the tank. Wouldn't surprise me at this point if Ronaldo cracked 20 goals this season.

I mean, at least if we admit the truth then there is hope for something better. Maybe next season, if he stays at PSG, he breaks all the records for scoring in France? Who knows but it is something that someone as great as Messi has been for 10+ years goes off a cliff in form, in what can only be considered the easiest of Europe's top 5, specially with PSG of all clubs in that league.

                    But side topic:

Did you tune into the FA cup match?

Looks like Timo is finally becoming a proper modern winger and Mason Mount with the Hazard hair cut is channeling prime Hazard.

                      Also,

I know we don't talk much about other leagues in here but

Barcelona getting weighed and measured, and found wanting against Eintracht ****ing Frankfurt in the Europa league!
