It's an interesting phenomenon that the best club in England buy a legendary striker in the making and somehow regress.
First thought of Manchester City buying Haaland would never be: Finish 2nd place
But here we are watching Haaland break all the records and City going backwards. Like, how?
Idk what other league is that possible in.
Yeah I dunno really - as an attacking force they are the same but different? It is interesting though.
The table doesn't lie......but
City are a much much much better side than Arsenal let's be honest. So something is amiss.
Their whole game is about getting numbers in Central areas and going slow, slow and then explode. So I suppose they have one less 'ball player' to keep the ball on the carousel as Fergie called it. And that is having an impact going the other way.
I mean they have scored the same amount of goals but teams are getting into their back 4 easier.
Apart from Graham Tactics.
That said it really could just be injuries to key centre backs.
Man city charged by the premier league for multiple breaches…. You already know they’re scrambling to hire every lawyer under the sun to make this go away.

They made UEFA go away.
It took the pl 4 years to get here.
Let's be honest, City might be bigger than the premier league in terms of cash and have more drive to push it through the courts if they receive a bad outcome.
We all know they cheat but it doesnt matter. Charges will be timed out again or key evidence will again have been obtained illegally.
The added factor is the Super League.
Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal all wanted to join that. It was the nouveau riche like City and Chelsea that just went along with it at the last minute because they didnt want to be left behind. I dunno what Spurs were doing but they don't matter.
So you have to think who is really gonna back them in this? Because if its an attempt to stand up to a big team they have to question which other big cash generating clubs would have their back?
My guess would be none. They are all American owned.
The will create a guaranteed revenue ******.
I actually think this is bad news. Despite the inevitable crowing from rivals. All these big teams cheat imo. To varying degrees. They will **** all over everyone.
The one positive of the massive state owned clubs over the multitude of negatives is ironically they are more likely to protect the league because they don't care about a financial incentive.
City fell down because they kept on having the highest turnover in football.
